16/05/2026: Living nearby, I've walked past this restaurant hundreds of times, and tonight we had dinner there. The ingredients were top-quality, and kudos to the chef who prepared delicious dishes. I highly recommend the foie gras; it's one of the best I've ever tasted. As for the other dishes, you can go there without hesitation. The service was perfect, and the food was delicious. I'll definitely be back! 👍👍💪💪

27/04/2026: A wonderful time spent at Maison Bertrand. The setting is superb, both elegant and welcoming, with a timeless charm reminiscent of beautiful traditional homes. You immediately feel at home. The cuisine is perfectly executed, generous, and full of flavor, with high-quality ingredients showcased to perfection. Special mention goes to the remarkable wine list, thoughtfully curated and offering some truly excellent selections. But beyond the food, it's also the warm welcome, the service, and that genuine "old-school class" that make all the difference. A place you'll enjoy returning to, and one I recommend without hesitation. I hope the Michelin Guide will be more generous, as the two stars are well-deserved.

Warm, kind, and genuinely welcoming, Chef Sébastien creates an atmosphere that feels personal and sincere rather than rehearsed. The café itself is beautiful, with a cozy, comfortable setting that invites you to slow down and enjoy the moment. There is a quiet elegance to the space that perfectly complements the food and hospitality. A true gem on the Cotentin Peninsula, and the sort of place that reminds you why dining out can be such a pleasure. Worth seeking out, and worth returning to again and again.

30/05/2026: A really great place, just the kind we love in France: a small, simple menu where everything is homemade. I thoroughly enjoyed the beer-braised ham hock and homemade apple tart, and the cherry on top: homemade fries – so rare these days! I highly recommend this bistro.

09/06/2026: Incredible food with incredible service and attention to detail. We felt immediately welcomed by the team, who looked after us superbly from the minute we arrived, to the minute we left. We were served with a delicious amuse bouche whilst we chose our food and wine. We then had two courses, both which we enjoyed immensely. We highly recommend the confit duck and the poitrine du veau. The souffle was just perfect. We don’t visit Paris often, but we would definitely come again and we would definitely recommend.

The dishes were generous, prepared with quality ingredients, and bursting with flavor. Special mention for the mussels, which were simply exquisite: perfectly cooked, fresh, and deliciously seasoned. A real treat! I highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return.
