26/07/2026: The service was appalling; it's unbelievable that someone in the restaurant business could be as unfriendly as the waitress who greeted me. A smile never hurt anyone, I promise :)

21/07/2026: The owner has no respect; luckily her waitress is more respectful.

16/07/2026: I was shocked when I saw the staff throwing away food, cakes, bread, and leftovers in the bin bags at the end of each shift. It's really not normal; normally, charities should be collecting it to give to people in need. 🙏

02/07/2026: Contrary to some reviews I've seen (perhaps they were too old, or maybe I just happened to be there on the right day), McDonald's is great. I was amazed by the speed of service. Everything was delicious and piping hot. The order was complete and even beautifully presented (I've never seen a wrap so well packaged). I highly recommend it.

20/06/2026: I'm sorry I chose this McDonald's. The burger was cold, it looked like it had been made an hour ago. I don't think the sauce was even the right one, nor was the bun. My son was the same; he only ate half of it because he was freezing. The fries went straight in the bin. It's unbelievable that at another McDonald's just 10 minutes away, the experience is a thousand times better…

24/04/2026: Unfriendly service and a very limited selection despite what was advertised. We ordered andouillette, minced steak, and pork loin, but ended up with ham, chicken, and sausage. The waitress didn't know what was available and was unfriendly.

06/08/2026: Opens at 11:30 AM: No fries! It's a CUSTOM... Why wait until 11:40 AM for those famous fries to FINALLY arrive, only to have 4 or 5 people waiting in front of you to finish their meal and empty your display in 5 minutes, then wait "X" times longer for another batch...? I already mentioned this a few months ago, but apparently, nothing has been done! On the other hand, your meats are excellent. Ph. BOUBE Balaruc les Bains

04/08/2026: Disappointed, simply disappointed. The place and location are great, even charming. However, the welcome was cold, almost unpleasant; the staff made us feel like we were bothering them... and the chocolate crepe... a tasteless batter topped with an industrial chocolate-flavored sauce (cocoa-flavored glucose syrup...) was very disappointing. Such a shame, we imagined eating a comforting homemade crepe in a lovely setting, but no, truly a pity. I asked the manager if it was chocolate, and she curtly replied that it was indeed chocolate... in short, a shame... all this just to maximize the cost of the crepe. I would have been delighted to pay a few euros more and eat a crepe made with a homemade crepe batter and chocolate instead of chocolate-flavored syrup... unfortunately, I don't recommend it. Hoping things will change...

01/08/2026: Inhumane. A customer left drunk; her car was parked right across the street. She somehow managed to find her keys and tried to start the car. I hoped the regulars and employees who were there, laughing, would do something. I finally went to see her, seeing that the "spectacle" amused them more than anything else. These thoughtless people didn't lift a finger! It's a disgrace. And if that were all, the "food" served makes us question the very notion of justice, since some quality restaurants struggle to stay afloat while these horrifying establishments still exist...

16/05/2026: The bánh mi tasted good, but unfortunately the bread wasn't warm or crispy. For the price, which is rather high for a banh mi, that's the bare minimum. The service was quick, straightforward, and to the point.

15/07/2026: Absolutely terrible, the worst coffee I've ever had. Don't go!! The owner is incredibly rude. He made me keep a bottle of water and kicked me out when I asked for a glass instead.

26/06/2026: In the middle of a heatwave, we simply asked for a glass of water. The response was: "Seriously? I don't serve water." A rather unwelcoming and truly disappointing reaction, especially under the circumstances. There were four of us: three of us had ordered drinks, and only one person simply asked for a glass of water. Furthermore, the restaurant was far from full, with only a quarter of the tables occupied. This lack of consideration leaves a very poor impression of the welcome and service.

13/04/2026: Quite scandalous. It's advertised as being open until 1am, but already closed at 00:15... we made a big detour to come and eat, I should have read the previous reviews more carefully and trusted them.

12/04/2026: I arrived at the McDonald's drive-thru in Plaisir at 12:37 a.m., even though closing time is clearly indicated at 1:00 a.m. (app, website, and signage in-store). Despite this, they simply refused to serve me. But the most shocking thing was the staff's attitude: they accused me of having opened the drive-thru barrier myself. An absurd and completely inappropriate accusation. Refusing a customer before closing time is already problematic. Accusing this customer falsely is downright unacceptable. If you can't provide service until the advertised time, update your hours. And above all, train your staff in a minimum of professionalism and respect. Very bad experience.

14/02/2026: This shop closed in August 2025; it was replaced by Café Marcel. What a shame, they had the best chocolate croissants around.
