28/04/2026: I bought a strawberry cake that was clearly several days old. The sponge cake was dry, the marzipan was also dry, and the strawberries had no taste whatsoever, all for the sum of 29 euros – they're taking the customer for a ride!

25/03/2026: I rarely leave negative reviews, but this time… beyond the fact that the cashier was really unpleasant, even aggressive, the chocolate éclair (€3) was rancid. Inedible. I've also tried the bread and pastries… mass-produced and not good. It's so sad; we really need a traditional bakery in the neighborhood.

31/07/2026: I ate a tuna sandwich; it was basically just mayonnaise and not much tuna.

29/07/2026: I've been trying to reach them for over an hour, several calls, nothing, it just rings. It's unprofessional. I wanted to place an order, now I'm going elsewhere, and they don't have any bread anymore.

11/07/2026: Loved the vibe here! Amazing service - the waiter was so prompt even with the amount of tables he was managing. Would come back just for him! And the amazing food and drinks as well!

14/06/2026: A very pleasant terrace for enjoying a drink and a snack in the lively atmosphere of the Bastille district. The service was impeccable and the prices were attractive during happy hour.

03/08/2026: At 10 pm, there were trays left uncleared on the tables, the racks were full, and the staff wasn't very busy. Furthermore, I ordered a "Maxi Best Of" meal deal, and the quantity of cold potatoes was the same as in a regular meal. I'm very disappointed and won't be returning.

03/08/2026: Mcflurrys were great and service was quick. However, men's toilet was awful. Broken paper dispenser, wet toilet bowl and puddle all around the toilet bowl. The restaurant was virtually empty when visiting at 1530 today - 3rd August 2026 Would not revisit due to poor cleanliness of toilets

13/05/2026: I went to a drive-thru, waited over 20 minutes for a cheeseburger and ketchup, shameful.

11/05/2026: The staff were unhelpful; I simply asked for a Big Mac sauce in a 280, something that's always accepted at McDonald's except this one.

28/06/2026: I was born and grew up for 25yrs in this district. This is the worst bakery/pastry shop around. Bread dough is frozen and they dont know how to make bread anyways. Frozen industrial pastries still "sweating" in the window as these just went out of the freezer. Madeleines just out of the bag (grocery store ones are better - I swear). Whoever states it's a good bakery is just a tourist- trust me. Had to throw away 5 traditions (supposedly real baguette) because it was cardboard. They take advantage of their location because they are close to the canal and their nice "old" storefront (the only good thing this place has to offer). Avoid at all costs. There should be an oversight for bakeries in Paris and this one should be closed or blocked from calling itself a bakery. This is a frozen snack point. And a bad one. I'm sorry to leave such a review because the couple managing it are nice, but they dont make efforts on the quality.

27/06/2026: A brioche I bought here, which they reheated in the microwave, was rock hard. It must have been several days old! It's outrageous! The waiter knew about it since he heated it but said nothing. Absurd. Maybe they treat their regulars better…

09/08/2026: We waited 50 minutes for a simple order; the server supposedly didn't speak English, and after asking, we finally received our food. The toilet was unacceptable, and overall, it was a rather unpleasant experience. The food was okay.

09/08/2026: Incredible restaurant, a team dedicated to their customers. I highly recommend it, but I advise other customers to be patient and understand that these employees are doing their best to satisfy you.

01/08/2026: If you want to get ripped off, I highly recommend it! They use large trays, even though we ordered small quantities. It's unacceptable! I ended up paying way more than I should have. Of course, they won't give me a refund, even though the mistake was theirs.

05/07/2026: Last night we saw on the Black Cat's Instagram account that entry was free. Imagine our surprise when we arrived and had to pay €10 to get in! It's completely unacceptable to engage in false advertising! We'll never go back to the Black Cat again.

30/06/2026: We went there three weeks ago and discovered it's no longer a pizzeria but a caterer that makes rotisserie chickens... the new owner is riding on the coattails of the previous owner's reputation... not very honest at all... we left without buying anything...

18/04/2026: The pizzas are so good 😋 The service is pretty good. And the atmosphere is that of a typical pizzeria.

26/07/2026: The manager is unpleasant, and on top of that, he sells expired products and doesn't even give refunds. I asked him for a paper towel, and he wasn't happy. Avoid this place. (It's a housing project, not a tobacco shop.)

06/05/2026: This place has reopened after being rightfully closed for multiple reasons. Immediately we are bombarded by their clients who have no respect for anyone or anything. They shout, spit and dump rubbish everywhere. They smoke illegal substances outside our homes. They stand in the middle of the street and shout abuse at and intimidate people who simply want to walk, cycle or drive past. The impact these people have on the street is immense and intolerable. We live here, we don't deserve to have to pass through a gauntlet of aggressive behaviour, littering and damage to property every time we leave our homes.

15/04/2026: Appalling service, exorbitant prices. Hygiene is barely acceptable. Do these establishments still exist today? And they call themselves culinary professionals? Unfortunately, they are the poor representatives of the last remaining urban businesses. I do not congratulate you!

09/03/2026: A group of eight, including children, arrived at 1 p.m. The aisle was rather empty. We each got a sandwich/panini, a dessert, and for those with bigger appetites, quiche and pastries as extras. We spent over €100 including drinks, and the only comment we got was: "Next time, call ahead. You practically emptied the aisle; if the managers come by, we'll get yelled at!" We told her she should be happy with the big sale, considering we made do with what was available...🤔 If we hadn't paid, I would have left!

11/06/2026: Avoid at all costs. This is the first time we've ever thrown away ice cream. The blood orange and lemon flavors were inedible (tasted like lemon peel!), and the Snickers and Cookies were just plain bad and mass-produced.

31/05/2026: One star because I can't give less. The welcome was icy cold, to say the least. I ordered a crepe and was told they didn't make crepes. My friend then asked if they were only making crepes today or if they would never make them at all. The response: yes, but there would be a 10-minute wait. And after 10 minutes, the result was an inedible crepe, hard as a rock. At €4.50 a crepe, this is unacceptable. Even after remaking it, the same thing happened... Very disappointed.

05/08/2026: Not many people despite its proximity to the highway and the time (1:30 pm), generous portions, and quick service both inside and on the terrace! Only one small negative point: the restrooms are a bit dirty

04/08/2026: The wait was long! We weren't in a hurry, so no problem, but it was still quite slow. We waited a good 20 minutes at the counter to get our ice cream. The floor was really dirty too... But hey, we ate well 🍔
