09/09/2026: Terrible service (except for the waitress). The set menu was okay, but I could have eaten on the way out... syrup was €2.80. The cashier was very unpleasant. The place was very noisy. There were four of us, and we won't be back.

26/08/2026: The quality is very average and the price is a bit high for what it is.

26/08/2026: For 2 people, we paid the same price as in the Leclerc cafeteria for 3, and the toilets were disgusting.

20/08/2026: The underaged visitor of the restaurant sprang from his table and hit my 6 y.o. niece, when we were passing by. We were extremely shocked and went up to the table and asked the adult woman sitting with the attacker what was going on. She was very indifferent and said my niece bullied the boy, which was a lie. At the same time the boy was acting aggressively and was springing from the chair. The waiter went up to us and said "They are kids. Thank you". My niece is still shocked at what happened to her. Please stay away of this place, its hooligan visitors and employees encouraging such behavior.

18/08/2026: Beef tartare disgusting. Food is horrible here I paid and left. Barely touched anything. They should not offer food they cannot make.

09/09/2026: Lovely restaurant and shop and bar , lovely croissants in the morning lovely coffee and petite déjeuner and dinner in the evening the poulet basques was brilliant , Eric and laure are lovely hosts and great food and good vibes.

31/05/2026: It is stated that the tobacconist is open until 11:30 pm on Sundays, but it is not open; there is no sign outside to indicate that there is an "exceptional" closure.

28/05/2026: The store was advertised as closing at 11:30 PM, but I came to buy tobacco and drove 30 minutes only to find it closed. Very disappointed. Please consider changing your opening hours!

22/09/2026: Although there were folding chairs and tables available, the waitress told us that there was no question of setting up any more because supposedly there wasn't enough staff, even though all the tables had been served and she had nothing left to do... 😕

20/09/2026: Once again, a deplorable welcome. You get the feeling they don't really want to work, even though it was a pretty quiet Sunday! As a regular customer, this will be my last attempt until the management changes!

02/07/2026: Very clean Bonkeba. I agree with some of the comments about the staff not being very attentive, but nothing malicious (just a bit absent-minded 😅). But apart from that, great restaurant!

28/06/2026: Still as good as ever, though sometimes a bit slow because it's so busy. The staff and family are friendly, the meat is tasty, and you can add cabbage and cheese. I recommend it.

03/09/2026: Our trip to Monopoly was a very pleasant experience, thanks in particular to our waitress Constance. We had a wonderful time with friends, the prices are very reasonable, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is perfect for forgetting a long day at work. We will be back.

28/08/2026: We had a lovely family evening at this crêperie. The crêpes and salads were delicious. We'll definitely be back.

20/08/2026: This is my third time at this restaurant, and two are definitely too many. The first time, I went with my daughter (I should clarify that she's not a child, as I noticed from reading other reviews that this place hates children). We were practically attacked by the waitress (manager or owner, I suppose) because we dared to sit at an empty table when the terrace was deserted (we should have just walked on, but we remained polite and ordered anyway). The second time, I brought a couple of friends with their adult daughter and her little Chihuahua, who stayed on her lap (the welcome was appalling, but I turned a blind eye and said thank you as I left). And the third time was the absolute worst: I waited an hour for a savory crepe that cost €14.50 (or rather, what they had) and two bowls of cider that cost €3.50. Big mistake not checking my receipt before paying, because they charged me €16 for the galette and €4 for the bowl of galette. This place should be shut down for its poor service, questionable cleanliness, and prices that don't match the menu. I learned the hard way that things always come in threes. It's a shame this lovely square in Calvisson is so poorly managed. An angry Calvisson resident!

29/09/2026: My experience at Café de la Place was very disappointing. The food felt carelessly prepared and was unpleasant to eat. The staff were unfriendly, service was extremely slow, and they seemed more interested in taking smoke breaks than looking after guests. I’ve left with the uncomfortable feeling that something is brewing in my stomach. I wouldn’t come back.

29/09/2026: Unfortunately, extremely disappointed. My colleague was served a triple dose of diarrhea. The pizza dough was raw, raw, raw. Plastic was also found. The wait was extremely long and the organization was nonexistent. The chicken salad was catastrophic. NEVER AGAIN!
