31/08/2026: A customer for 20 years. I only go back occasionally. Since they stopped baking the products on-site, the quality has been deplorable. They tell us the breads are different because of the organic flour, that the rolls travel well… Never a good mood, never a smile. Today, passing by the bakery, I thought I'd get a baguette; normally, it shouldn't have changed. I felt like going back and throwing it on the counter. It tasted like day-old bread. And at €1.30… The pastries are tiny. You can save yourself a reply. I won't be back. I'm writing this message simply to warn other customers. In each of your responses, you come up with some flimsy explanation to absolve yourselves. But strangely enough, customer comments always point in the same direction. Especially if I look at those from the last few months.

21/08/2026: I was disappointed with the service at this bakery. There are several waitresses, including one named Céline, if I'm not mistaken. I found her attitude really unpleasant: she rarely smiled, wasn't very welcoming, and her way of serving clearly gave the impression of being a nuisance. It's frankly unpleasant to come to the bakery when she's there. In fact, I found the atmosphere much more pleasant during the three weeks she was on vacation. On the other hand, a special mention goes to Jessica, the blonde waitress: she's absolutely fantastic! Always smiling, welcoming, and pleasant with customers. So friendly! It makes all the difference. It's a shame the experience can vary so much depending on who's behind the counter.

07/07/2026: Completely unfriendly, didn't say a word or even smile. As for the meal, the fries weren't good, and neither was the hamburger. Everything needs improvement.

06/07/2026: I'm still looking for a chip shop in the Audomarois region that actually makes good fries. The bread isn't good, the fries are a disaster. The atmosphere? As pleasant as a cemetery. And bring your own bags for transport, good luck figuring it out. 2/5... As for the caravan, but that's all there is to see from a distance...

27/04/2026: Disappointment regarding our purchase of brioches and pastries at high prices for the quality.

01/04/2026: The service was frankly appalling; barely a hello, and the saleswoman was incredibly unfriendly. The sandwiches were practically thrown into your pocket. The atmosphere in the shop was frightening.

15/08/2026: First time I've ever seen beef and cheese skewers without beef! The quality is poor for the price. €11 for 5 beef and cheese skewers without beef, plus 4 spoonfuls of white rice and 3 sips of soup! Outrageous!

07/09/2026: Yet another bakery where the pastries are of very poor quality: undercooked in the middle, hollow, and unsatisfying. The chocolate pastry was tasteless. The pan bagnat was €6.50, with undercooked bread of equally poor quality. All in all, very expensive for what it is.

19/08/2026: An interminable wait, 20 minutes with two waitresses in peak season – what a shame! No boxes for individual cakes! Unpleasant waitress. Your staff and organization need to be reviewed.

06/09/2026: I wasn't allowed in because, and I quote, "I was wearing a tank top." I definitely do not recommend this place for LGBT people.

02/08/2026: It's not for nothing that this is the highest-rated nightclub in Angers; the staff are unpleasant and the club is awful.

14/08/2026: A good place to grab a quick breakfast. It's a shame they don't sell sandwiches and savory meals in the morning.

17/04/2026: A pleasant spot to have a coffee, do some reading, or simply watch people go by. This café also serves freshly squeezed orange juice, especially valuable if you're low on vitamin C.

14/04/2026: Beware of the Uber Eats "buy one get one free" kebab offer; when they do it, it's usually because the spit is old or about to be thrown away, and the white sauce is expired and tastes moldy. When I deliver packages here, there's no "hello," "thank you," or "goodbye," even though there are no customers present.

11/04/2026: Really not great for a place that advertises itself as a master kebab maker and homemade fries; it's false. The meat is greasy and doesn't taste good, and the fries aren't homemade—they're dry and not very tasty! I had a terrible stomach ache afterward! The service was mediocre. Probably one of the worst places I've ever eaten. Regards

09/09/2026: It was listed online as open until midnight for drive-thru. But when we arrived there at 11:00 PM, we were told it was closed. Check your hours.

06/09/2026: Huge wait at the drive-thru in the blazing sun. I ordered a simple Big Toasty. I got charged double. And there was no cheese, just a huge amount of sauce. Really disappointing at €17.

06/09/2026: It seems it was open a month ago, but it's not open today. However, the information doesn't match up in Google searches. Don't waste your time...

06/08/2026: A social experience: bizarre, disrespectful, problematic. The first negative review of my life… thanks to the cook because the food was good. However, during our meal, we heard him yelling in the kitchen that he was going to "leave"… and we can only understand why. The owner, who is also a waiter, is a disaster. It makes you wonder if he wants his restaurant to go under. Nothing is the waiter's fault, even though he forgets half our order (he yells at us because, according to him, we never told him). The same goes for the other diners. He seats us at a table propped up with a rock without warning, which ended up shifting and spilling all our drinks. But according to the waiter/owner, "we shouldn't have been leaning on the table." He speaks with disdain and contempt. Our neighbors at the next table were elderly (very respectful of the situation). They wanted to split the bill once they were at the bar, even though no one else was there. He sent them back to their table, throwing the bill on it and telling them to "figure it out yourselves," then accused them of theft because they supposedly hadn't paid for a drink... even though he takes all the orders from memory... without remembering anything. He was completely unwelcoming to Catalans (refusing to serve them). We are French, so this isn't our experience, but we observed it.

27/09/2026: I've rarely seen a cake so butchered. It looks like it was made by someone who's only just discovered baking after three drinks. Even the icing sugar seems to have been hastily sprinkled on to hide the carnage. At this point, it's no longer a dessert; it's an affront to gastronomy.

16/09/2026: I was very disappointed with my experience. Two days prior, I had ordered some bread that wasn't available for pickup the next day. When I returned the following day, my order simply hadn't been prepared. So I went back two days later to pick up two Nordic loaves. They kindly offered me two more, which I appreciated. But instead of Nordic loaves, they gave me country-style multigrain loaves. I went back to the shop to point out the mistake, but they insisted they were indeed Nordic loaves. I even showed them the difference between the two products directly on the Marie Blachère website, which is clearly visible, but they still maintained they were Nordic loaves. Two mistakes in two days. It's a shame, because this will be the last time I set foot in this bakery.
