05/10/2026: We also stumbled upon this charming medieval tavern, and despite our last-minute reservation, Régis, the owner, welcomed us warmly. The exceptional decor immediately transports you to another era. It's a place perfectly suited for a gathering with friends or family. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back. You can enjoy a set menu of starter, main course, and dessert for just over €30 per person. The menu is small, but that's a sign of quality. The drinks are unique, and they even have period costumes to enhance your meal. Thank you for continuing to support our small villages!

12/10/2026: Very excellent dinner in Bayeau. Staff was friendly, service was excellent. We had a chicken dish in a Camembert cheese sauce with mushrooms that was amazing. Also had the lamb shank prepared perfectly. Definitely get a reservation as many had to be turned away at the door.

26/09/2026: The restaurant was small and therefore quiet, which is exactly what we were looking for. The waiter kindly explained the dishes to us, which turned out to be excellent. The restaurant specializes in raw fish, particularly salmon. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The icing on the cake was the very reasonable price, considering the generous portions and the quality of the food. We highly recommend this place.

21/10/2026: The place is nice and the welcome was warm. Regarding the products, I doubt they're homemade. I really liked the restrooms; it's rare to find clean and attractive ones.

24/10/2026: A lovely place. Everything is homemade. It's simple yet refined and delicious. We also received a warm welcome, and they spontaneously offered us a high chair for the baby. The terrace is covered, which allowed us to eat with a beautiful view, even during this shoulder season. Thank you for a wonderful time.

12/10/2026: A lovely little restaurant to discover after a stroll in Murato, for example. We received a very warm welcome and thoroughly enjoyed Corsican charcuterie and homemade local dishes, all accompanied by an excellent sparkling Muscat wine. A wonderful find.

24/09/2026: From a local perspective, it's truly welcoming and beautifully decorated. The feminine touch is noticeable. A plus for the overall cleanliness, especially the restrooms. The cuisine gets a solid 9...we enjoyed "Les Traditionelles e Spécialités Breton." We left satisfied and heartily satisfied. Kudos to the entire staff, especially for their "Authentic Local Breton" approach.

It's not only just steps from my house, but the atmosphere and friendly vibe are just what I love 💖 The team is amazing 🫶🏻👍🏻, and the owner is super cool and incredibly charming 😍 Not to mention the impeccable food, which I absolutely adore 🤤🤤🤤 Don't even bother coming here 🤪 Leave us regulars and me alone in our pirate hideout (just kidding, of course)! Anyway, I highly recommend it!

We all know that lazy temptation: skipping dinner, nibbling on a piece of processed plastic, or giving in to the ease of yet another soulless, standardized takeout. Fortunately, the intuition of the receptionist at my hotel led me to an address just a short walk away: Que pour les gourmands (Only for Food Lovers). A promise, she whispers, where customers always return with a smile on their face. I can confirm, and how! Crossing the threshold without a reservation and being greeted with such kindness and immediate authenticity is already the beginning of the journey. Faced with a menu of incredibly tempting choices, hesitation is a delicious torture. My heart first melts for the starter: duck spring rolls. The plates arrive, veritable spring paintings. Visually, it's a marvel of contrasts, but it's in the mouth that the magic happens. Imagine the crisp, golden, and perfectly textured pastry that yields to the bite, releasing the richness of confit duck. The orange slices bring a vibrant, almost theatrical acidity, while the strands of spice intertwine on the plate like musical notes. It's a perfect balance, pure poetry where sweet and savory converse beautifully with a touch of sweet and sour. A boldness that instantly awakens the senses. True to my theme for the evening, I continue with the chef's variation: a revisited duck Parmentier. Plated with impeccable precision, the dish is presented as a dome of golden purée, crowned with a crisp tuile that seems to watch over the treasure beneath. The comforting sweetness of the potato, accentuated by a sprinkle of aromatic herbs, perfectly complements the robust flavor and character of the shredded duck. The freshness of a crisp salad with bursts of vegetables lightens this monument of indulgence. And then there's that suspended moment. That gesture that separates restaurateurs from artists. The chef, with pure intuition, senses my gourmet nature and bestows upon me a divine, off-menu treat: a homemade Malagasy sauce. An explosion of flavors, a journey within a journey. This unexpected wink to discerning palates proves one thing: this chef doesn't just cook, he listens, he feels, he shares. In the midst of this gastronomic communion, my gaze fell upon a wall inscription, a heart-shaped text reminding us that "the greatest wealth is family." Everything becomes clear. Here, cooking is done as a family, with heart, for the human family of passing gourmets. At a time when junk food is everywhere, this restaurant is a bastion of resistance, reassuring us that great, good cuisine still exists. A sublime experience.
