21/10/2026: I've been to this delightful restaurant several times. The cuisine is authentic, with homemade ingredients. As an added bonus, the menu on the chalkboard changes weekly, which is a real plus for frequent visitors. The service is always excellent, whether from the chef, the owner, or the young woman. We will continue to come with great pleasure...and I recommend you do the same! 😁

The atmosphere was great, and above all, the food was really good for the price. I highly recommend it if you want a full meal—go for it!

That evening, at Le Farçon, they met for a luminous dinner, graced by a chef who understands the region and the smiles of a couple who had traveled from much further afield than the mountain peaks. The chef, passionate and generous, skillfully wove together the rich flavors of Savoy with the discerning palates of his Breton guests, creating an unexpected, delicate, and vibrant alliance, like those encounters that leave a lasting impression. The service? A rare warmth at altitude. A sincere, almost familiar attentiveness that envelops you from the very first moment—and which, by contrast, leaves some neighboring tables in a polite shadow, where elegance prefers to remain silent. Here, one savors with precision, shares with joy, and leaves the table with a heart as full as the plate. And as the meal ends, a breath of Brittany comes to greet the night: a complimentary digestif, like a final nod to distant sea spray. Ms. Baey's professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made the preparations for our birthdays incredibly stress-free! The abbey, including its kitchen, is very well-equipped and spacious; we wanted for nothing. For our first experience, we were absolutely delighted! Thank you again for the wonderful welcome, simply fantastic!

The welcome is impeccable, the mountain chalet atmosphere is lovely, and the delicious cuisine is a true delight. 15/09/2026: A pleasant surprise. A simple lunch break during the week, with a set menu, was greeted and served by a smiling and very professional person. The food was high quality (and delicious) with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere was calm and ideal between noon and 2 pm. The set menu was reasonably priced. I recommend it.

16/08/2026: A truly beautiful cathedral. I'm not religious, but it's still impressive what they managed to build back then, with far fewer resources than we have today.

28/09/2026: So glad we were able to have dinner at La Luck on Braderie night! We were lucky enough to find a spot away from the hustle and bustle for a quiet dinner before heading back into the heart of the festivities. The poutine was a delightful discovery for me. We didn't get a chance to try the usual board game area, but we were pleasantly surprised by a fantastic Fatal Bazooka karaoke session. I'd love to come back!

12/10/2026: Very excellent dinner in Bayeau. Staff was friendly, service was excellent. We had a chicken dish in a Camembert cheese sauce with mushrooms that was amazing. Also had the lamb shank prepared perfectly. Definitely get a reservation as many had to be turned away at the door.

16/10/2026: An excellent restaurant. We stumbled upon it near our hotel and what a pleasant surprise! The decor, the table settings, and the staff who made sure we had everything we needed were all delightful. And the food was a real treat! Amuse-bouche with the aperitif, followed by beef tataki, rabbit saddle, and to finish, pan-fried mirabelle plums on a mirabelle compote, with ice cream, an almond tuile, and white chocolate cream. A delicious meal; we will gladly return to try other dishes.
