02/09/2026: Honestly, for the price we paid, we expected something more. Water and wine weren't included either. The waiter who served us wasn't very attentive. We mentioned that it was our 30th wedding anniversary, and we didn't find anything special on our table, not even the rose petals we saw on other tables.

At Lore Ttipia, Chef John Argaud offers Basque cuisine of breathtaking precision and creativity, enhanced by his mastery of charcoal grilling. From the appetizers to the pastry chef's desserts, each dish is a superb gustatory experience. The setting is equally magnificent: dining on the terrace overlooking the vast hills of Bidarray is a truly magical moment. The service is attentive, friendly, and offers excellent advice on wine pairings. A unique address not to be missed if you are visiting the inland Basque Country.

31/05/2026: A superb discovery and a real gem in Pantin, ideally located just five minutes from the Quatre Chemins metro station. It's the perfect place for lunch or dinner, whether you're alone, with family, or even in a group of about ten people. The owners run the establishment with a firm hand, while remaining extremely friendly, welcoming, and smiling. The cooks are simply outstanding: the service is quick, impeccable, and efficient. The quality of the food, from the artisanal pizzas to the fresh pasta, fully lives up to the menu. You can eat in or order takeout. A highly recommended traditional spot where you're guaranteed a wonderful time!

15/05/2026: We chose this restaurant because it was close to our hotel. Highly recommended! The French and Italian food is very good and plentiful, the service is fast, and the owner is incredibly friendly. We ordered a calzone, pasta, and entrecote with gorgonzola sauce (steak with cheese sauce), which comes with a side (either fries, pasta, or salad). I ordered green beans, which took longer, but we didn't mind. We also ordered a 50ml pichot (house wine in a pitcher to share). We would have loved to speak French to chat with the owner—the best French speaker in France! But we communicated with gestures and goodwill. It's a typical neighborhood bistro, warm and unpretentious, very popular with locals (which says a lot, considering they were ordering pizza), and everyone was friendly. We would definitely return!

07/03/2026: Currently closed for renovations since early March 2026. Under new ownership since November 2025. Since the change in management, I haven't noticed any negative changes in quality. Let's hope the renovations don't mean the restaurant will close or lead to a detrimental decline in quality. I would say it's one of the few really good kebab shops in Paris, and even in the suburbs. A customer like HF says there are better ones on the next street, but the staff at this competing restaurant aren't very friendly.

07/10/2026: My partner and I had dinner at Dolly's, a small, unassuming Indian restaurant. We opted for the set menu (starter, main course, dessert) for 15 euros and were delighted. The samosas and spring rolls were a crisp and flavorful appetizer. Then came the main courses: chicken xacuti with rice and chicken biryani. In both dishes, the chicken was incredibly tender, accompanied by onions and fried onions in their respective sauces, perfectly spiced and generously portioned. For dessert, we had an upside-down coconut cream topped with caramel and a dollop of whipped cream—fresh and indulgent—and a warm, delicious, melt-in-your-mouth chocolate brownie with whipped cream. A wonderful discovery!
