16/04/2026: My partner and I came for lunch today, and overall the meal was very pleasant. The service was friendly and the food was good; no complaints there. However, I'd like to share a more personal experience that unfortunately marred our meal. Upon arrival, a customer already seated off to the side made discriminatory and racist remarks loudly towards us. I didn't react at the time to avoid any conflict, but his words made me very uncomfortable, as if we weren't welcome. This affected the entire meal. I want to emphasize that this doesn't reflect on the restaurant itself; the crème brûlée was truly excellent, as was the rest of the meal. But this kind of situation can really impact a customer's experience. I simply hope that everyone can feel welcome, respected, and at ease.

31/05/2026: An excellent address in the 15th arrondissement! We're not from Paris, but this is already our second time at Le Piquet, and it certainly won't be the last. The service is absolutely impeccable: the entire team is incredibly kind, smiling, attentive, and always goes the extra mile. As for the food, traditional dishes are elevated with great skill. Everything is flavorful, generous, and perfectly executed. You'll find the authenticity of French cuisine with that little touch that makes all the difference. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, which immediately makes you want to return. It's the kind of place where you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive.

03/06/2026: Excellent contact beforehand for the reservation and very pleasant service. The starter and dessert were good, but nothing special. Regarding the couscous, I know it's a matter of taste, but personally, I find that such fine semolina doesn't do this type of dish justice… it quickly becomes mushy (several people at the table made the same comment). The meat dishes were fine, no complaints. It was a set menu for Mother's Day, which is a shame because my daughter has dietary restrictions and doesn't usually order starters or desserts, so we had requested a vegetarian couscous in advance (and it was well accommodated). However, we were given to understand that there were no exceptions and that she had to order the entire menu (so we shared the starter and dessert). In short, I just find it a shame that business often takes precedence over people. In short, for all these reasons I will not return, but there is no doubt that other people will appreciate this place.

21/05/2026: We had an incredibly delicious fish fillet with fresh vegetables, all perfectly prepared. To finish, we had dessert consisting of small glasses of lemon sorbet, pistachio cream, and tiramisu – accompanied by coffee. Absolutely delicious.

17/05/2026: We went there for lunch today. The food was excellent, the welcome very warm, and the place was very clean. As a bonus, they offered tea and coffee, which was very nice. You can feel their passion for their work; they're a very friendly couple. A great place for a very generous and delicious couscous.

20/05/2026: Nice little terrace, we were tempted to eat there, but the service was appalling! Not even a hello, an incredibly long wait even though there were only a few tables to serve, and a waiter was standing by the door watching what was going on. We waited ages and the waiter didn't even say "I saw you, I'll be right back," even though he just looked at us without a greeting. We were shocked by their behavior, we went somewhere else, and we have no regrets because the friendliness of the staff is just as important as the food when it comes to enjoying a place! I absolutely do not recommend it, and since I work nearby, I will never go back!

15/06/2026: A very pleasant stay at the Pullman La Défense where the staff are incredibly attentive. My visit to the bar was a truly enjoyable experience thanks to Moussa. Friendly and professional, he made watching the World Cup matches a real pleasure. I will gladly return.

01/05/2026: This restaurant was a pleasant surprise; it was recommended to us by the owner of the gîte in Mesvres. There were still seats available for the second seating. The dishes were very good and well-prepared, featuring local produce and friendly service. A little background music would have been a nice touch. I recommend this restaurant.

30/04/2026: We dined there for the first time this evening and were absolutely delighted. The service and the food were first-class. Anyone who loves fish will be in heaven. But the meat course was also outstanding. I've rarely eaten a better piece of pork. The quality of the ingredients is consistently superb. We can also highly recommend the wine pairing. The dishes are sophisticated, yet allow each component to shine. All in all, a wonderful evening.

26/02/2026: In terms of food, taste, and atmosphere, this restaurant truly embodies what a Michelin one-star restaurant is and what sets it apart from mainstream cuisine. Each French dish, with a Japanese twist, was richly flavored, and with only a few people at the table, the service was impeccable. However, I was disappointed that there were no instructions on how to eat or a menu card for those who lack Japanese or English. The restaurant didn't provide any details, such as the use of koji (fermented soybean paste) or the ingredients used to create the umami flavor. The broth base wasn't explained, so I had to guess (I focused on the flavors of the ingredients) and savor the meal.

24/05/2026: Our go-to spot for over a year! The service is fast, the galettes are delicious, and the ingredients are fresh; a restaurant not to be missed in downtown Senlis!
