03/11/2024: Un vendredi midi ..restaurant complet donc pensez à reserver...pas de menu donc du coup il faut compter 30 euros environ pour plat et dessert.A noter que moyennant quelques euros supplémentaires les entrées peuvent être servies en plus grande quantité en plat ..ce qui est sympathique pour les amateurs de croute Forestiere notamment.plats très bons copieux et joliment présentés .service sympathique et aux petit soins .

In addition, the boss who also provides the service was really nice, with a very warm welcome, and that's nice.
18/11/2024: Excellent creperie where we find the roots of Brittany. All accompanied by a good cider. Excellent welcome from the team and the friendly dog. Dogs are accepted. I recommend!!!

The cuisine is homemade, the sauces, fries etc.
I also had a flank steak with homemade garlic sauce. And a homemade maroilles sauce on the side as well
This is the first time I've eaten my entire plate!

10/08/2024: Hello, I came to have lunch with you in 2022, because I haven't lived in the North for a long time. I am in Antibes and I took advantage of my visit to the family to come and have lunch with my friend, his wife and my other half. I asked my friend if he knew a good restaurant in Valenciennes and he took me to YOU. I have fond memories of it and can't wait to come back and enjoy your dishes. I don't know if you are the same owners, but I don't forget that you offered me the digestives (Pear) and that made me happy, it's so rare now.
I also learned that you had suffered a fire. I hope everything is back to normal for you.

Well received, good atmosphere, correct and fast service, family cuisine as advertised.
But this Saturday lunchtime, the fries served with the filet mignon were not up to par:
_ The frozen fries had a fishy taste... Eatable... But this detail spoils the dish and gives a bad rating to the whole rather very good meal...
_ Consider changing your oil
cooking and making homemade fries using real potatoes cut and cooked by you even if it takes time and is expensive... this will save you from bad comments.

24/09/2024: We've been there twice in the last month with friends and had brilliant meals, brilliant service, and they looked after me, the vegetarian! It is one of our favourite places. Go and eat with the locals.
