For this exceptional culinary experience, the pork chop and lamb shoulder were simply perfect, and thank you to the charming, very professional waitress who was attentive to the customers. 02/05/2026: My partner and I had a very pleasant dinner, starting with the cheerful and efficient staff, who greeted us with a smile in a warm and friendly atmosphere. They offer high-quality products at excellent value, and above all, they have a masterful command of cooking techniques. We were particularly impressed by the wood-fired roasting Cornish hen, served with morel sauce and new potatoes. A big thank you to all the staff! ✨

17/05/2026: The unfriendly welcome and lack of courtesy from the staff, especially the waitresses, really spoil the experience. The reception was cold. Never a smile. The service was mediocre, despite the decent food. One young waitress, in particular, sighed ostentatiously with weariness at every turn, instead of responding normally to customers. Don't arrive 30 minutes before closing time, as you're very likely to be turned away, as I was, as if they were already closed! If you're already seated, the waiters and waitresses don't finish their service by asking if you'd like coffee or dessert 30 minutes before closing, as if they were already closed! A day will come when you'll truly be closed, for lack of customers. Are you in such a hurry to file for bankruptcy and lay off your employees, or to be laid off yourself, if you're an employee? Your business sense and customer service are deplorable. No matter what you do, whether you come twice a week with twelve people or only once every ten years, whether you're a regular customer or just passing through, you really get the feeling you're bothering them. What a shame to run a business like this and then complain, because you're not growing your small business or building customer loyalty! The value for money is very average. If you want to have a pleasant and relaxing time, I don't recommend it.

30/04/2026: We just returned from a meal with a friend at this restaurant. The food was very good, thankfully, but it redeemed the friendliness of the waitress and staff, which was abysmal. A complete lack of manners and professionalism. During the meal, we could hear the waitress yelling from the kitchen; a smile was clearly not part of the service. To top it all off, after paying, common sense dictated that we say goodbye. We repeated it once, twice, three times, even seven times, before the customer behind us finally responded. I find that outrageous! When there are only five customers in a restaurant one evening with food of this caliber, serious questions need to be asked. It's a culinary delight, but utterly disgusting to witness the lack of respect shown by the staff!

04/06/2026: Hi! We are the two Italians who came for dinner on June 3, 2026. We loved the food, very, very good! For those who don't know, we had: Onion soup = delicious 🫶🏻 Croque Messer = very good!! Croque Madame = for the gentleman 🤣 very good!! Crème brûlée = delicious and hot The staff was fantastic, the bro who welcomed us was super friendly! We felt really at home, pampered. We will miss you 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

17/06/2026: We needed a hotel in Bastia at short notice and were traveling as a couple with our bicycles. Storing the bikes was completely hassle-free and very straightforward. All the staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and accommodating. We particularly remember the breakfast: it was delicious, varied, and we really enjoyed it. On our cycling tour through Corsica, this breakfast was definitely one of our top three. Overall, a very pleasant stay that we would gladly recommend.

16/06/2026: No food available except for a basic snack in the room, which wasn't not large enough to swing a cat in. No cook was eventually the excuse. Maybe the smug manager and rude receptionist could doubled up. It certainlyvis what I was expected to do back in the day. In addition, not enough staff to keep breakfast flowing. Constantly having to wait for bread that was being baked, cheese not replenished. The "hot" dishes (scrambled egg and cremated bacon) were everything but. Wouldn't go back.

15/06/2026: A very pleasant surprise with this restaurant! The quality of the food was perfect, and the service was top-notch. Despite the heat, we were very comfortable with the gentle breeze. I recommend it 200%!

11/06/2026: The food is expensive but good and tasty. The waiter who served us changed his attitude (from good to bad) when we asked for a bottle of water and he didn't bring wine. He served our main courses as if he'd thrown them away, went outside to smoke several times during service, and then either finished his shift or simply didn't want to serve us anymore because another waiter, who was much friendlier, finished serving us.

30/05/2026: We didn't know it existed... Walking along the clifftop path, down towards a beautiful beach, Chez Germaine was there. We'd eaten some fruit aling the way and were not hungry. It was still lunchtime and called in for a coffee. No problem at all. If we're in the area again, we'll have our lunch here. Edit, May 2026. We came back, hungrier this time. Super fast service with lovely crepes. A really lovely, friendly place. Fantastic views and ambience.

The welcome was warm, the staff very friendly, and the setting pleasant (there's an indoor dining room and a large terrace). We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! The food was delicious, the dishes were high-quality and beautifully presented, and the prices were very reasonable. We highly recommend this restaurant!
