28/10/2026: I'm absolutely charmed by Little - petits gâteaux' craftsmanship, and so is my stomach! We were able to order our wedding cake (red velvet/crème de bueno), among other things, and it was incredible. We can't wait to go back to the shop to eat and relive that special day over a homemade iced tea!! I highly recommend it ✨

28/09/2026: We love going back to Bar à Iode regularly. The fish is fresh and flavorful, whether it's baked fish or seafood (oysters, shrimp, whelks). The wines and desserts are delicious. The service is friendly. The prices are reasonable.

27/09/2026: 09/26 Another visit to this excellent bistro, as pleasant as ever. Utah Beach oysters at a reasonable price and a delicious Grand Marnier soufflé. 02/26 A bistro for seafood lovers, with a simple setting and a lovely terrace for sunny days. Very fresh Cancale oysters, good fried smelt, all washed down with a very good Menetou-Salon from Domaine du Loriot at the unbeatable price of €24. In fact, the entire wine list deserves a mention, both for its quality and its prices. Absolutely charming service.

14/10/2026: The location, with its outdoor terrace overlooking the cathedral, is fantastic. Did we expect too much from the cuisine that had been so highly praised? We were a little disappointed. We opted for the set menu, and while the starter (celery root and herring) didn't exactly blow us away, it was a pleasant surprise: fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. I expected more from the main course (veal paupiette). While the side dish was very good, the paupiette was seriously overcooked. As for the dessert (French toast), it was bland, with an unpleasant texture, and the "style" of crème anglaise at the bottom of the plate was definitely not homemade. We appreciated being able to pair our meal with wine by the glass at a reasonable price. Overall, it was a mixed experience. Perhaps we just had an off day. I have no doubt that the à la carte dishes are of a higher quality. Could the organization be improved further? A person greeted us and showed us to our table, saying that she (or we) – I can't remember exactly. Another person came to take our order, and we still hadn't seen the daily menu. A third person continued serving us, starting with the main course. A table next door had to ask for the wine they had ordered, which they still hadn't received after their appetizers had been cleared. Many of these comments should be considered more as constructive feedback, intended to encourage improvement rather than as reprimands.

The meal was delicious, with a special mention for the vitela asada, which was exquisite and tender. Generous portions, a fantastic atmosphere, and with the servers' participation, we had a wonderful time! Thank you again to the entire team!

10/10/2026: We had already been here two years ago, and I've known this restaurant since the 70s. No disappointment there, neither with the food nor the service. However, some of the prices are a bit steep; €4.50 for a syrup and water is a little expensive…

07/10/2026: When we stumbled upon this restaurant, it was packed, which was already a good sign! We received a warm welcome and were asked to wait a few minutes while a table was prepared. As I mentioned, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were friendly, smiling, and welcoming, with a touch of humor in their interactions—I loved that! We had a classic meal (Caesar salad for my wife and steak and fries for me), but it was excellent. My wife is a regular Caesar salad eater, but she'd never had one so good, and my steak was delicious with homemade fries! ...and all for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend it.

25/09/2026: A truly delightful experience where everything was perfect! The dishes were absolutely delicious, made with high-quality ingredients, and the service was top-notch, with smiles and genuine kindness. The location is just steps from the castle.
