05/07/2026: We came as a group of six for my mother's birthday, and we had made a reservation. The table was beautifully set, the welcome was excellent, and the dishes were very well presented and generous. Everyone enjoyed their choice. One of the guests ordered the octopus with chorizo, a wonderful discovery. The mussels marinière were classic and very good, the service was excellent, and the desserts were also delicious. I highly recommend it and I will definitely return.

26/07/2026: Finally, I was able to discover this magnificent spot in the Pays de Bitche region that everyone has been talking about for years, and I certainly wasn't disappointed. We ate on the terrace in a very pleasant, friendly, and family-oriented setting. The place is really well laid out so that everyone can feel comfortable, with several outdoor areas and games to delight children. Most of the terrace is designed in the style of a carousel, which adds a lot of charm and originality to the place. It was already full when we arrived, quite late for a Saturday night, which is not surprising for such a well-known and long-loved establishment. The restaurant's dining room was also quite full, which shows that many people enjoy coming here to have a good time. So we ate in another outdoor area with a few tables, which was also very pleasant, with a small thatched bar to the side. From our table, we also had a glimpse into the kitchen, where we could see the staff bustling about during service, adding a lively and friendly atmosphere. Two or three small seating areas also allow you to enjoy a leisurely aperitif before sitting down to eat. With the beautiful summer we're having right now, it's truly delightful. The menu offers a wide selection of dishes, featuring high-quality cuisine and dishes that reflect local traditions. Being able to enjoy a good meal in such a pleasant outdoor setting is truly wonderful. In addition to the outdoor areas, the restaurant has a dining room open year-round, decorated in a rustic style, full of authenticity, just the way I like it, perfectly suited to this type of cuisine. A truly wonderful restaurant in the Pays de Bitche region that I highly recommend for a pleasant time with family or friends around a delicious meal. A big thank you to the entire team for their warm welcome, kindness, and attentive service throughout the meal. Everyone was so friendly and attentive to the customers. I look forward to returning soon to discover other dishes and try one of those beautiful cocktails I saw being served on the platters in the distance. Thank you again for a wonderful time. 10/08/2026: Extremely expensive for a meal. No menu, just à la carte options. A glass of water from the dispenser is €2. The octopus fish dish was served with an endive (or at least I think so), very braised. For dessert, you'd be better off with a Danette (a type of pudding). A black coffee is €4. This restaurant should be avoided.

11/08/2026: I loved this place. Small and casual, with really lovely staff. The food was delicious, made with care and fresh ingredients. I didn't catch the chef's name, but Simon served us and he was great. I had the eggs benedict (YUM) and my friends had bowls, which they loved.

18/07/2026: Delicious food with remarkable flavours served on the terrace, accompanied by a fantastic white wine from Albert Boxler (Gewürztraminer Réserve 2014). Unfortunately, the wine wasn’t served cold enough and had been placed in the cooler on the dirty ground (cigarette ends etc).

04/09/2026: A huge THANK YOU to Bar 153 and its incredible staff (shout out to Dorel on the right!!) who made our evening amazing, memorable, and extraordinary. I'm thrilled to have celebrated my birthday there and I'll definitely be back for other events. All my friends had a blast and loved the friendly atmosphere. The drinks and tapas were fantastic. I highly recommend this bar for your important events, without hesitation. You'll be pampered all evening.

14/07/2026: A wonderful discovery! The bar's ambiance is particularly well-executed: elegant, welcoming, and accompanied by pleasant music that perfectly complements the atmosphere. The decor is tasteful, and the setting, both on the ground floor and upstairs, is very pleasant. The cocktails are excellent, carefully prepared, and of high quality. Special mention goes to the staff, whose welcome and service were impeccable throughout the evening. We were even pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary drink from the servers, a particularly appreciated touch that demonstrates their hospitality. A refined establishment where you feel right at home, ideal for a wonderful time. We will gladly return!

13/08/2026: A fantastic place! 🍣 At Makesuchi, the food is truly excellent, the welcome is warm, and the atmosphere is super pleasant. We enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end! The sushi was so good that I almost ordered a second helping… and my stomach said yes 😂. A friendly team, a great atmosphere, and above all, delicious food. I highly recommend it, but not for too long, or you'll miss out on the sushi! 😋🍣
