04/04/2026: While visiting the Ardennes, we were taken here. The setting is truly lovely, especially the restaurant under the vaulted ceiling with its beautiful decor. The staff were pleasant and smiling, and the food was good; it's quite good value for money. What I liked least was the slow service... We arrived at noon and didn't leave until 2:30 pm... It was a long wait, especially for the food. That's the only complaint I have.

The menu offers many specialties, each as delicious as the next—a real treat! And a special mention for the panna cotta: simply the best I've ever had. We will definitely be back!

03/04/2026: I loved it; they have great food at reasonable prices. I highly recommend any of the set menus with a starter, as it's amazing. The miso soup, in particular, is very good. But I would have preferred to eat outside. Unfortunately, the outdoor seating area wasn't open yet.

30/03/2026: Very nice, very good food, the wines are too expensive, but that's a French problem... Restaurateurs, do you really want to kill French winemaking? No, sorry, I don't agree with your answer. You're looking at the problem backwards. A real moral and economic prohibition is being imposed on wine in restaurants. Prices have become absurd; wine by the glass is an absolute rip-off. This is completely destroying consumption... Again, I can drink water with my meal, but I can do that at home... Other neighboring countries like Spain or Italy can offer house wines at very reasonable prices... Your profit margins are excessive (this isn't specific to you) and counterproductive. I don't understand why there isn't more awareness of this...

28/12/2025: A very high-quality restaurant. The atmosphere is friendly, and the service is pleasant and efficient. The cuisine is particularly refined, with a Western style on par with a good gourmet restaurant. We enjoyed a variety of desserts for €80, including wine: excellent value for money. Please note that, contrary to previous reviews, the management has changed since March 2025. Highly recommended.

10/03/2026: My wife and I had dinner at the Auberge de Monceaux on a Thursday evening. The atmosphere is very cozy, the service efficient and pleasant while remaining discreet. The cuisine is based on local produce (from the restaurant's own garden and regional producers), with superb creativity that elevates basic ingredients (cabbage, Jerusalem artichokes, beets). Unbeatable value for money and a sure bet for a family meal or a romantic dinner. The Auberge de Monceaux is a restaurant that leaves a lasting impression on anyone who dares to visit it.

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly; the atmosphere is very welcoming, and conducive to enjoying your meal in the best possible conditions.

12/12/2025: The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, not very convenient for public transport, especially since there are practically no sidewalks along the roads. The hotel is fairly comfortable but a bit dated. The restaurant is a bit pricey and offers limited choices. The spa is a major plus and very good.

08/12/2025: I only tried the spa, where I was kindly invited by my best friend. After paying our entrance fee, we went down to the spa and waited 10 minutes at reception before realizing that no one was coming. There were no more bathrobes available in the changing rooms, and no one to tell us anything. We took the two remaining bath towels and went around. There was no hot water for the herbal teas. In short, it was very, very poor! I won't be going back.
