17/09/2026: Fast service. We ate very well.

17/09/2026: We had tapas for dinner, which ended up costing about the same as the set menu, but it was what we chose. The tapas were decent, nothing extraordinary. We didn't have dessert because we didn't feel like it. When I went to pay, the cashier seemed incredulous that we hadn't had dessert and even asked the waitresses. Quite sad, really. Oh well, there are people like that in the world.

01/09/2026: We hired Saint-Laurent for a cocktail reception to celebrate our sons' 10th birthday weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves; everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Communication was very easy, from the initial planning to the final delivery. A high-quality service, delivered with great care and professionalism. Thank you so much. 12/10/2026: A truly memorable evening for our group of around forty colleagues! We concluded our seminar at Le Grand Soleil (on November 25th) and everything was absolutely perfect. A huge thank you to Eva for the preparation and organization of the event, and a massive thank you to Margaux for her warm welcome and impeccable management of the evening. The food was superb, the service flawless, and the staff all smiles. Everyone has wonderful memories of it. Bravo and thank you to the entire team – it was a truly perfect experience!

02/10/2026: A small restaurant in the Latin Quarter, nestled quietly on a pedestrian street. A few tables on the terrace offer the perfect spot for a pleasant evening, a glass of wine in hand, while enjoying Asian specialties. Yes, it's all-you-can-eat. No, it might not be haute cuisine, but it's good, it's fresh, and above all, it's served with a smile and kind words from the owner, who has a great sense of humor. A friendly place to spend a pleasant and unpretentious time.

30/09/2026: Excellent, high-quality food and friendly service. I really enjoyed the sashimi and gyoza. The dishes arrived a little quickly for my liking, the gyoza came while I was still eating my sashimi, and I’d have preferred a little more time between dishes. That’s a small point, though, in an otherwise very enjoyable meal. A lovely find, and especially handy if you’re staying next door at Hôtel Jardin de Cluny.

02/10/2026: Updated October 2026: Six years after first discovering the place, I returned to Caen and discovered the new Case Départ: a larger space offering excellent facilities on two levels, with a sheltered interior terrace. Super comfortable seating (which is important when you're there for an evening of gaming!), and an amazing food menu. I've rarely seen anything like it in a gaming venue (and I know quite a few!). Not to mention the very comprehensive drink selection and the trained, competent, and incredibly helpful staff. The games themselves are also top-notch, with a plethora of free-to-play games for all tastes and all types of players. In short, go for it. Probably one of the best board game bars in France. —- Visit July 2020: A very pleasant board game bar run by Eric and Léo. Drinks, homemade food, and games more than live up to expectations in a charming establishment with tasteful decor. Well done.

08/10/2026: Such a cute place. I’m coeliac and the waiter had no issue with it, made the sweet crepe (lemon and sugar) gluten free for me. My friend had a gallette and it was all really nice.

26/09/2026: Unfortunately, we only discovered this place the day before our departure. Nevertheless, we were able to appreciate the unique and very welcoming atmosphere, as well as the kindness of the staff. We promise, on our next visit to the area, we will eat there.

19/09/2026: Great place to eat and a good atmosphere, vegetarian and vegan options available. Staff were polite and very helpful. Look forward to returning next year.

28/08/2026: Exceptional food and fabulous service with lovely wine too compliment.... 2 years between visits and absolutely spot on both times. Cannot recommend highly enough. Always thought Michelin Stars were over rated but Auberge had proven me wrong. Magnifique !!

19/08/2026: We had been planning to come for a long time. Our son's birthday provided the perfect opportunity. It was perfect, starting with the view of the Dordogne River and the visual delight of the dishes. The meals on the "Water and Riverbanks" menu were exquisitely prepared. We also appreciated the helpful guidance in choosing wines to accompany our lunch. We will gladly return.
