04/08/2026: I'm a neighbor of this restaurant, EJV, and I eat there occasionally. Their fried fish, whether carp or trout, is excellent, and what's more, it's real homemade fries, nothing frozen. And the staff—the owner and his wife—are very, very friendly.

05/09/2026: The waiter and manager were rude and had a haughty look. The pita bread served wasn't really pita bread; it was defrosted bread with Kiri cheese. Avoid at all costs.

03/09/2026: Eleven of us arrived for drinks. Upon arrival, the waitress seated us inside, given the size of our group and the fact that we hadn't made a reservation, which we completely understood. However, 25 minutes later, no one had come to take our order, or even ask what we wanted to drink. So we decided to leave. And again, no member of staff acknowledged us or even seemed to notice our departure. I can understand someone going unnoticed. But a group of eleven people getting up and leaving the establishment without anyone reacting is still quite surprising. Especially since the objective was, and I quote, "to bring in people to attract more people," as one of the waiters told us. It's a shame: getting customers in is one thing, attending to them once they're seated is quite another. A rather disappointing experience, as we had simply come to have a good time and consume.

17/07/2026: This restaurant is well worth a visit. Every dish is a feast for the eyes and the palate. The cuisine is exquisite and delicate. The service is impeccable and the welcome very warm. I will gladly return.

10/07/2026: We had a wonderful evening at Jarapea restaurant, where we were delighted by both the visual appeal and the delicious food, from the appetizers to the desserts. The service was efficient and pleasant. Located a few kilometers from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, this establishment is one we highly recommend.

12/08/2026: A lovely terrace in summer. Pleasant lunch this Wednesday in August. A delicious pizza with truffle cream this time (18 euros). The crust is thin. The service is quick and the staff are friendly. I recommend this restaurant.

01/09/2026: The meal was good overall. But we waited 40 minutes to order desserts and have them brought to our table.

31/08/2026: We were made to wait in the entrance while there was no one in the dining room and no one to tell us we were being attended to. The manager was arrogant, unpleasant, rude, and disrespectful, judging customers without knowing them, and using the informal "tu" form only to respond rudely. We've never had any problems in the past, but we won't be going back anytime soon.
