27/06/2025: The staff is really great, and the food is very good and plentiful. The only two drawbacks are: the dining room is "noisy," making it difficult to have a quiet time because it's very, very often crowded, as it's a really great restaurant. The other point is that after having such a good time, your clothes will smell of the oil needed to prepare the amazing fried dishes, so a towel is mandatory! 😊 But honestly, it's a great place with very nice people at the helm!

08/09/2024: Tout est absolument délicieux dans cette petite auberge qui a tout d une grande table Beaucoup de travail dans l assiette avec des préparations sophistiquées mais qui respectent les produits et le goût avec équilibre et créativité Dressage élégant et vaisselle moderne C est beau à regarder et c est bon à déguster Il y a de la variété et beaucoup beaucoup de générosité Les serveurs sont lookés et en totale harmonie avec le décors de la salle. Le service est attentif et professionnel.

17/11/2024: Samedi soir de novembre, le restaurant n’est pas aussi plein que d’habitude. La salle est bien chauffée ce qui est appréciable. Le foie gras maison et le carré d’agneau sont délicieux. Le service est très agréable. Encore une bonne expérience dans ce restaurant. Nous recommandons.

03/11/2024: Nous étions en week-end à Hourtin en hors saison, seul restaurant ouvert et nous en sommes ravies. Nous y sommes allées 2 soirs dessuite, la variété des plats le permettant. Des nouveaux plats et desserts tous les jours. Les chiens sont acceptés, gamelle d'eau amenée dessuite. Personnel serviable, disponible, près à proposer une table tard pour pouvoir nous accueillir. Produits frais, service agréable, bonne ambiance. Bon rapport qualité prix. Allez y les yeux fermés.

I didn't order anything, having already had a drink elsewhere. The waitress came over and told us that I had to have a drink, otherwise we would have to leave the table. However, there is no law that requires a mandatory drink per person in a café. This is a business decision, of course, but one that could be clearly stated at the entrance—and, above all, expressed with a minimum of tact. The tone used by the so-called owner was curt and disrespectful. At a time when conviviality should be paramount, this kind of rigidity dampens the desire to return. It's regrettable that a place supposed to encourage social interaction doesn't tolerate someone simply accompanying a friend without having a drink.

The Gard brandade pizza is a must, an explosion of flavors in every bite, and the cuttlefish a la plancha is quite simply one of the best I have tasted. 11/11/2024: C’est une belle expérience contrairement à ce que disent les esprits chagrins ; pourvu que cela dur. On a pas faim en sortant là aussi c’est une légende urbaine. Après c’est un peu cher mais ça le vaut. Il n’y a certainement plus d’invention culinaire ; mais c’est bien aussi la tradition : surtout de qualité. Tout est à la hauteur.

We have been coming regularly for 2 years to this friendly and more than charming restaurant which sits to the right of the magnificent church of St Sulpice de Favière where we got married this summer. It was the very friendly team at St Louis who did us the honor of serving an original and delicious reception. They took great care and we thank them a thousand times again. They knew how to make this moment magical despite the rain! Again yesterday, we enjoyed the new menu. Thank you for these wonderful and delicious moments when time stands still! See you next time 🤗
