29/08/2026: The food was superb, from appetizer to dessert. Superb quality, homemade cuisine using only fresh ingredients. A magnificent setting, fantastic service—friendly, pleasant, and efficient. I've already booked a table for December 18th with the show offered by the restaurant. I highly recommend it!

23/08/2026: So, I wanted to share my opinion about the restaurant. I first came for my birthday in April and had a beef tagliata, which was delicious, especially with the little new potatoes. I came back on Friday and had an Italian-style steak tartare, which was absolutely amazing. The quality and quantity were perfect, a real treat. The waitresses were very friendly and always available; everything was great, it was very pleasant. Kudos to the chef, everything was perfect. We'll be back very soon. I highly recommend it. Plus, the atmosphere is very cozy; really, truly nothing to complain about.

21/08/2026: Back from vacation craving a good pizza, but it wasn't easy to find one in the neighborhood, and it was even harder to find a restaurant open this week. The pizza was excellent, and the service was very pleasant, truly! Great value for money.

18/08/2026: Everything was perfect except for the music being a bit loud, which made it difficult to hear each other, so we could hear our neighbors better.

17/08/2026: It's always a pleasure to come to this restaurant. The food is excellent. A very warm welcome, a family atmosphere, superb service, and the staff are incredibly attentive. Last night, Friday, we enjoyed the karaoke night 🎤, comfortably seated on the terrace, with a fantastic atmosphere 🎉. Another excellent time spent at La Maison du Grand Large! What makes the experience magical is their attention to detail: they are incredibly discreet while remaining cheerful, without ever being intrusive, from the head waiter to the entire team! A huge thank you to Axel, Chris the bartender, Maxence, Marie, Léane, Maria's team, and everyone else. From our arrival to our departure, you all contributed to creating a truly amazing atmosphere! 20/08/2026: Restaurant Review I had a very good meal, and the desserts were truly delicious—a real plus! 🍰 However, I was a little disappointed by the €11 non-alcoholic mocktail. The glass was three-quarters full of ice, and there was very little drink in it, not even half a small glass. For that price, I expected a more generous portion. Overall, a good experience in terms of food, but the mocktail left me wanting more.

04/08/2026: We had a delicious meal. We sat on the terrace on a summer day, with plenty of shade. The dishes were perfect, the service attentive, and the location magnificent. It was a pity, though, that no non-alcoholic wine was served. The restaurant is certainly worth driving a bit out of your way for. We recommend it.

06/09/2026: As a German family with three small children, we were not welcome here and were ignored. French customers were informed directly that the shop was about to close. We have rarely experienced such rudeness.

29/07/2026: We couldn't agree on the food. Good twice and slightly less so twice. Service by presumably a new waitress was top-notch and friendly. Not everything works out, but you can feel they are doing their best. Just a nice place to be.

05/07/2026: A very nice restaurant with excellent air conditioning! The menu is clear and enticing, with plenty of choices. The broths for the beef and onion udon and chicken teriyaki were excellent. The broth alone was so delicious I could drink it by the spoonful, it was so well-balanced, flavorful, and had an intense, pure meat taste. The meats in the udon were also very good; the beef was very thin and flavorful. The tea-based mocktails are excellent. I'm not usually a big tea drinker, but these were very good, a perfect balance of green tea, apple, and cucumber. The only small thing I might like to see improved is the option to add meat to the toppings. The menu has several protein-free options that look excellent, like the udon with miso cream and mushrooms, but unfortunately, there's no protein with this dish, which is important for me personally for maintaining a balanced diet. Otherwise, nothing to complain about! I'd do it again in a heartbeat! ✨

05/07/2026: Would you believe if the best meal I had in Paris is a udon joint? Considering how must of a high standard I have in Japanese food, I would have never imagined I'd be saying that yes, indeed, this is perhaps the best udon experience I've had. Enni Udon is run by true Japanese owners, crafting homestyle udon, with pride, perspective, and in a sleek clean, modern Japanese decor'd shop. From the get go, you get this omakase joint level of interior feeling, and yes, from an udon shop. It is clean, modern, and pleasant. And you can tell they mean business. They definitely want you to experience the udon their way. But again, massive kudos to whoever they hired for the interior design. A lot of attention to detail and we recognize that. We had Japanese koroke (croquette) and tonkatsu for appetizers. Okay, these are not just your any fried potato and pork with breadcrumb batter and skin. The koroke was well fried, super hearty and flavorful, and served with wasa-mayo - which was perfect in their flavor balance. The tonkatsu - the meat wasn't too tender but the crisp and crunch on the outer skin was next level. I have never tasted tonkatsu that has given so much effort in a crunchy skin. I've had fluffy crunch before, more airy. This wasn't it. This was solid. Yet pleasntly crunchy. Now to the udon. We ordered two flavors - niku (beef) and the duck. And my god. They both had their distinct flavors blended all the way into the broth. Clearly, this wasn't just a regular udon broth with different meat pieces. They were genuinely making different broth and the depth of the soup comes through in a heavenly way. Especially the duck broth, I could sip on it and just that would make me happy. And yes, the noodles were fabulous - soft and stringy. I am quite confident that these are hand pulled udon noodles, most likely made there in the shop. Otherwise you simply do not get this type of a "fresh" texture. Top all of this with draft beer and you are literally in heaven. I have reviewed hundreds of Japanese restaurants. But perhaps the only other udon shop that this can rival would be Uzumakiya in the San Francisco Bay Area. And this includes udon in Tokyo as well. We are so happy that we discovered and dined at Enni. And may have to come back to Paris, just to taste this magic again.
