You immediately feel at ease, with a warm welcome and that genuine generosity that makes all the difference. A little bit of happiness with every visit… the name is definitely well chosen! ❤️

Lovely terrace, friendly service, homemade dishes, a small menu (understandable given the fresh ingredients), and unlimited tap water, unlike some establishments along the Moselle or near the ponds. I'll be back with the family. Well done! And a special shout-out to the lasagna!

02/09/2026: The location and food are absolutely top-notch, approved by Japanese people (not us) and by a visitor to Japan (us). The sushi is excellent, approved by my very picky girlfriend! I was able to find unagi-don there, an incredible grilled eel dish, which I hadn't found since Tokyo. The three-course meal (starter, main, and dessert) is around €30, enough to stuff yourself, otherwise the ramen is under €20 and also very popular. The interior is really cute and air-conditioned. The exterior is nice, but can be noisy on a student night, as the restaurant is on a street full of bars.

05/08/2026: I went there to reserve 3 sunbeds (I have some local ancestry) and the person told me that everything was fully booked until next Sunday without looking at their schedule. However, when my friend called them the next day to check, because given the reception we had doubts about the veracity of their information, we managed to get 3 sunbeds very easily for the next day.

27/06/2026: We had an absolutely amazing stay! The rooms are impeccable, the attention to detail is astounding and we felt extremely welcome. We really loved the dinner and the peaceful garden view. Every dish was a delight, the wine pairings were great and also the breakfast was very tasty.

24/05/2026: The meal was very good, especially the fish: the Arctic char cooked in Savagnin butter with a fir and verbena sauce was a delight.

09/08/2026: The food was excellent, honestly. The gratin dauphinois was to die for. The only negative point of the evening was the guy taking the money, the slightly bearded brunette who wasn't very graceful.

Each dish brought to us was presented with the utmost care, and all were exquisite in flavor and creativity. The same goes for the drinks, whose presentation was very helpful. So thank you for all these amazing, exquisite, delicious, splendid, excellent, indescribable, superb dishes... whose taste left us speechless, our taste buds completely overwhelmed! A huge thank you again for your consideration, your attentiveness, and your kind touches, which made our birthday celebration unforgettable! In short, we'll have to come back 😊

20/04/2026: The best mochi I've ever had! My favorite is the yuzu mochi. The sushi and other dishes are also excellent. A must-try!

14/08/2026: We had a wonderful meal. Homemade food, beautiful decor, great atmosphere. It's a shame we live too far away to come back.

12/08/2026: We stumbled in quite by chance, and it was a wonderful surprise. The service was pleasant and efficient, the food was excellent (truly homemade), and the set menus were very reasonably priced. A great experience!

12/06/2026: Most of the sashimi was fresh and sweet. I especially loved the grilled cod in the cod set meal; it was incredibly delicious—I've never had such good Japanese food before! The only downside was that the miso soup was rather ordinary. The potato salad was also extremely delicious and very authentic.

28/08/2026: The Belle Époque evokes memories of a bygone era when food was flavorful, roasted or simmered, but never boiled. None of that here. A time when cuisine was hearty and generous. None of that here. Only the wine is well-chosen, but it lacks flavor. The service, however, is attentive and pleasant.

30/08/2026: We received a warm welcome at Fred's during our trip from Rennes to Sarlat. The burgers there are very good and generous.

13/08/2026: It's nice to have display cases that cover to keep out the flies, but wouldn't it be good to have spoons in each condiment container? We were served by an employee who scooped from each container, wearing only plastic gloves, putting a little caramelized onion into the corn, then a little corn into the onions, then a little onion into the pickles, and so on. Then she went and touched the various handles of the oven, the refrigerator, the beverage machine, and then came back to put her hands in our sandwiches. Nothing very appetizing, and as for potential allergies or intolerances, it's actually quite dangerous. Personally, I preferred to go without eating. To top it all off, we didn't get the right cookies we ordered...

12/08/2026: Nice, clean, and well-located restaurant. Good, generously filled sandwiches. Friendly and pleasant staff. I recommend it.
