06/08/2026: A very beautiful and classy place, excellent food, impeccable service, charming waiter, perfect meat, exquisite salmon tartare, and delicious pizzas. We were even treated to a lovely concert! A wonderful time with our two teenagers.

04/10/2026: Food TOP, but… First off, the food was delicious and solid. I chose the market menu, two courses for €23. A €6 surcharge was added for changing the main course from bonito or veal kidneys to sweetbreads. Since the "Ris de Veau" (veal risotto) had piqued my interest, I ordered it as an additional course – and that's when the meal took a decisive turn; I hadn't asked about the price of the dish. If the server had informed me, I could certainly have avoided my later frustration with the restaurant's pricing policy. First, to my surprise, both dishes (the veal kidneys and the veal risotto) were served simultaneously; you don't see that every day! The fact that the "intermediate course" was later charged at an extra €32 was the next surprise. Unfortunately, for me, the value for money was completely off, apart from the "standard menu." A shame. However, the ingenuity of the pricing for menu changes at this restaurant is, in my opinion, very creative, but unfortunately not objective since the prices aren't displayed. In that case, even the friendly service can't compensate.

18/09/2026: What a pleasant surprise La Source restaurant was! The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the setting was lovely. We enjoyed an exceptional foie gras followed by perfectly cooked sweetbreads. We were just passing through, but we'll definitely remember this excellent place. People from Vannes are lucky to have it so close by. We highly recommend it.

18/10/2026: Sure, it's an all-you-can-eat buffet, but it only consists of canned or reheated industrial dishes, and defrosted, industrially produced desserts. All that for €26.50 per person. It's far too expensive.

26/09/2026: This was a great surprise, after a long day of biking we were looking for dinner and found this place. It's an all you can eat buffet, with such variety of dishes, from cold to hot and my god the desserts! The food is very French, it's a working class food so don't expect gourmet food, so if it's not your cup of tea I wouldn't recommend. But we LOVED it! Kids pay 10 euro adults 26. Worth every cent. I was so full but had to have seconds from all the tarts.

24/10/2026: Perfect. A must-try. Very short menu but because what they serve is absolutely mastered. Get the eggs topping, they are worth it. Delicious place although very small. Go early and avoid peak times. the delivery is good too!

22/10/2026: The restaurant is situated in a beautiful setting, with pleasant service and several set menus at affordable prices. The à la carte menu offers two choices for each course: starter, main course (meat or fish), and dessert. I was surprised that there wasn't a vegetarian option. As for the food, the starters were very good (the pickle sorbet was truly surprising!) and the main courses were excellent. The only minor issue was that the foie gras sauce on my plate had spilled outside the platter ring. Regarding the desserts, we were a little more ambivalent. The roasted figs were slightly undercooked, the biscuit was rather bland and not very sweet; the accompanying ice cream was unusual but not bad. The chocolate, beetroot, and blackcurrant entremets was very original, but you have to like beetroot, which, in my opinion, was a bit overpowering. In conclusion, the desserts are very unusual: offering a more classic option would be a real plus. Overall, we had a very pleasant time and we will gladly return!
