24/08/2026: Superb experience. The view is extraordinary. The food was excellent. Pleasant service. We waited a little while because they cook over a wood fire, but the view made the wait worthwhile. It was our last evening of vacation before leaving, and it was the perfect way to end it. They don't accept credit cards. Bring cash.

When you look closely, the reviews are biased; the photos in the reviews have nothing to do with what's on the plate...?? It's a shame because the kitchen seems lively and the cooks very friendly, yet the food is good. Reading the recent reviews doesn't make me want to come back either...

21/08/2026: I came yesterday in the late afternoon for a drink. Nice place, very good service, however the atmosphere between the staff was very bad. I witnessed a rather unpleasant altercation between what appeared to be the owner and her employee. A shame...

22/08/2026: If you're looking for a place where poor hygiene, disrespect, and bugs are part of the experience, then this is it: you've come to the right place. A truly deplorable experience. We ordered the €47 summer menu, and honestly, it's absolutely not worth it. At that price, you expect a certain level of quality, freshness, decent service, and above all, impeccable hygiene. None of that was present here. The dishes didn't seem fresh, the establishment was dirty, and we even spotted something that looked very much like a cockroach. After that, it was difficult to eat in peace. The waitress, a woman with short blonde hair, was also particularly rude and unpleasant. A deplorable welcome, deplorable service, a disappointing meal. And above all, €47 for the menu at this price is completely unjustified. For half the price, with exactly the same level of service and cleanliness, you might as well eat at the dingy snack bar downstairs: at least you won't leave feeling like you paid a fortune for it. In short: poor welcome, poor service, poor food, and a bill of €47. One seriously wonders what the health department is doing to allow an establishment with such problems to still be open to the public. I strongly advise against it. At €47 for the set menu, keep walking: it's clearly not worth it.

19/08/2026: We had a truly excellent meal at La Tomate Verte restaurant. It tasted like home cooking, better than anything we'd make at home! The prices were also generally more reasonable than other restaurants in the area, while still maintaining superb quality. We were delighted with this little restaurant!

06/09/2026: A wonderful discovery! The food was excellent, with homemade dishes and high-quality ingredients. The homemade fries were absolutely delicious! The waitress was very polite, smiling, and pleasant, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Special mention for the profiteroles: a real treat! 😍 A place I highly recommend and where I will gladly return!

08/08/2026: I'd been to this restaurant several times in the past and had no complaints, but yesterday was a complete disgrace! The hygiene is appalling. The cheeses in the fridge were full of seeds from the various sandwiches. The board where the staff put our sandwiches to add the vegetables was dirty, not even wiped down, and the tomatoes weren't fresh, swimming in a lot of juice. The staff was unfriendly. We were told the upstairs dining area was closed, which was fine. The only available table downstairs was dirty, so I asked for it to be cleaned. The person did it, but she wasn't happy. This morning, I've had one bout of diarrhea after another. A hygiene inspection is definitely needed at this restaurant!

21/08/2026: Beautiful setting, very warm welcome from the hostess. Exceptional cuisine, as well as wines, with a varied menu. A must-visit if you're in the area.

22/08/2026: My son introduced us to this restaurant on August 22, 2026. It was true, it wasn't very busy, which is a shame, but normal for lunchtime in the middle of summer. The atmosphere was very quaint and American-style, the waiter was super friendly (he didn't give us the promised lottery numbers, but we forgave him because of his very warm welcome), the meat was high quality, and they didn't skimp on the portions. There were four of us plus a 3-year-old, and we had a wonderful family time. That's our experience. THANK YOU!
