07/06/2026: Honestly, what a shame. The staff seem genuine, and the food is good too... But the wait was far too long! Three hours there... And it's a shame, because the cuisine aims to be inventive, which is fine... The portions are too small... Bread is an institution in France, but unfortunately here I had to ask for it with every dish, and it wasn't good quality 🙄 I'm writing this because the value for money is terrible! It's a real shame, the owner should be careful, otherwise customers will find better. And that's precisely why I say it's a shame... €60 per person... 🤔 We expect better...

29/05/2026: I loved this place. The atmosphere is soothing and comfortable, the staff is extremely friendly, and the cuisine, based on fresh, local produce, is both simple and delicious. I will definitely return and highly recommend this place with its children's play areas and bookshop corner. The noise level is very low; I greatly appreciate the tranquility. They sell fresh, local fruits and vegetables, cheeses, drinks, and more. There's also a shaded terrace and a spacious, air-conditioned interior.

25/04/2026: My partner, our little one, and I absolutely love this place! The welcome, the quality of the food, the staff!! Everything is top-notch, even a little play area for children!! I highly recommend it!!

04/07/2026: A great setting, but unfortunately, a rather disappointing experience. We ordered two children's menus that weren't listed on the menu: they weren't set menus, but simply individual dishes (steak and fries, without dessert or a drink). I wish they had made that clear, as they were charged at €20 per child, the same price as an adult meal! The prices seem excessive considering the quality, which is very basic. The €17 appetizer platter consisted of two pieces of cheese, four slices of chorizo, two slices of prosciutto, and a little salad. The €12 chocolate mousse had no particular flavor and was served sliced, far from what I expected for that price. The homemade burger, advertised at €22, ended up costing us €23—a minor detail compared to the €20 children's meals. Finally, the Moscow Mule was served in a simple water glass, whereas at that price we could at least expect a traditional glass. Overall, the value for money leaves much to be desired.

01/07/2026: Lovely location by the pool, and our little dog was welcome, thank you. Regarding our meals, we would have appreciated a small plate to enjoy the platter. The ribeye steak wasn't rare and wasn't hot enough. The rice that accompanied the sea bass was overcooked and tasteless, and the sea bass itself, placed on top, lacked flavor. The presentation needs improvement. As for your Kir cocktails, being from the Burgundy region, they are served with 20% ABV fruit liqueur, not syrup. A shame.

29/06/2026: Dishes very well presented, good food, good taste and flavors, a small downside was that the rice and fries weren't hot enough, but well done to the chef, decent and attentive service, well done to the whole team.

04/06/2026: We would like to warmly thank the entire team at Café Lavinal for their exceptional hospitality during my uncle's funeral. Their professionalism, kindness, and warm approach were greatly appreciated during this difficult time. All the staff were attentive, considerate, and incredibly caring. A special mention goes to Aurélie (and another whose name I can't recall - sorry) whose kindness, consideration, and dedication touched our family and friends. The dishes were excellent, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The wines offered were also of high quality and were greatly enjoyed by our guests. The team struck the perfect balance between professionalism and personal touch, making everyone feel welcome and supported. We are deeply grateful.
