01/11/2026: A very disappointing experience. I placed my order and asked to pay in cash at the counter, but the server told me it was impossible to scan my loyalty QR code to credit my points. She explained that the machine had been out of order for several months. Yet, in other restaurants of the chain, staff manually enter my membership number to add my points without any problem. Is it normal for a machine to remain out of order for months without being repaired? If it's not a technical issue, staff training is clearly needed to improve customer service.

03/10/2026: This is a traditional French restaurant. We had the duck foie gras as a starter and it was delicious. My wife and I shared the Braised French Pork Shank and it was plentiful and delicious. We had our main course with their recommended Pinot Noir wine which was a perfect combination. We had the fig dessert and it was very well balanced as it was not extremely sweet. The waiter was very friendly and efficient. This was all and all a great culinary experience.

02/10/2026: Excellent bistro. I discovered this place earlier this week with a colleague, and I went back two days later with my son, a real foodie, because I loved it so much. It's not just a bistro; the quality of the dishes, the cooking, and the ingredients is absolutely remarkable, and the service is attentive, generous, and professional. I highly recommend this bistro. 31/10/2026: This is my fourth time at Santa Carne, and I must say that their consistent quality of meat and service is truly commendable! Kudos to the entire team! A warm and cozy atmosphere and a superb team that attends to all your needs and expectations. But above all, exceptionally delicious food! I once again ordered the chef's platter with three cuts of beef (sirloin, sirloin, and ribeye) and three delicious homemade sauces (chimichuri, chipotle tequila, and cheese), and the meat was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

16/10/2026: This was my second visit , passing through Auxerre. The restaurant is exceptional- fantastic food cooked on site with a good vegetarian option. I travelled on my own but was made to feel very welcome and had great service. I love the dining room - great decor, no music, plenty of space. Well done for maintaining a small independent restaurant in the centre of town with such high standards. I would always eat here if I lived locally!
