16/08/2026: Excellent restaurant! We ordered two set summer menus with a starter, main course, and dessert (tuna tartare, lamb shoulder, and chocolate mousse). Everything was perfect and refined. The servers were all very friendly and pleasant. A very good place to eat!

10/07/2026: A truly natural, friendly, and warm welcome. My husband had the octopus, which was surprisingly good with its delicious hummus accompaniment, and I had a Caesar salad with a proper anchovy dressing, just as it should be. For dessert, a lemon tart with a twist, featuring basil. A delightful surprise! I highly recommend this restaurant. We will be back.

01/09/2026: The meal for seven people was excellent in both quality and quantity, however, the service wasn't great; there was clearly a staff shortage, which was a shame! The owner was very friendly. We understand that finding trained waiters and waitresses must be very difficult, especially on Sundays. But the chef's delicious food made us forget all about that.

04/08/2026: The staff was appalling. After waiting for 45 minutes, I went to reception to complain, and suddenly, "If you're not happy, you can leave." These are the exact words of the person at reception. Bravo! I think it's no longer under the same ownership.

01/09/2026: I've had the Dejeuner Formula with starter, main course and dessert. The food didn't impress me. It wasn't bad, per se. It just wasn't quite the experience you grow to expect at fine dining. It was alright, I didn't hate it, but I sometimes thought that I would have been happier with a steak and fries for 15€ at some bistrot - a feeling you never get at proper michelin starred restaurants. The celery steak with honey, fennel shavings and a bit of summer truffle on top was alright, but the strong flavours absolutely overpowered any truffle flavour there might have been. The fish was cooked alright, but was a bit bland for my liking. I wished there was salt and pepper on the table, but I didn't ask for it to not be rude to the cook. The fruity dessert also was good, but nothing to write home about. A tower of fruit accompanied with a sour strawberry sauce? Maybe a bit too fruity for me. The presentation was always solid. I liked the tiny pink broccoli bit on top of the fish. The butter and the bread were very nice, and I loved the amuse bouche. But was it worth the 125€ I left there for two persons? No, I don't think so. The service was impeccable. The atmosphere on the other hand was a bit tame for the historical setting they are in. A place that capitalizes on the theatre part could get away with just serving some roasted meat, bread and wine. If you don't go big on oaken benches and medieval goblets, then the food gotta shine. And as I said: it didn't for me.
