21/09/2026: The biggest challenge is finding the restaurant. It's a rather unappealing new building nestled among budget hotels and commercial properties. Inside, however, it's a lovely, cozy space. The kitchen offers attractive, imaginative menus, expertly prepared, such as classic duck liver terrine or lobster and langoustine salad, redfish in a curried mussel sauce, sweetbreads, and a Grand Marnier soufflé. Prices range from €41 to €70, depending on the selection. Excellent value for money, including the wines.

18/09/2026: I've been a fan of L'Arche de Meslay for a long time, where I eat regularly, but a few things bother me. The owner and his wife are charming, which isn't the case for their two employees who serve like robots. One of them is the sommelier but doesn't share anything about the wines, and the wine list doesn't live up to the quality of the food. Since the owners returned from their well-deserved vacation, the prices have gone up considerably while the quality of the food has decreased. I was disappointed by my last visit, especially since the value for money was previously one of the best in the area.

13/09/2026: Not all the best restaurants are in Paris or other major cities. In the small department of Creuse, there's a restaurant in Feniers, just a few kilometers from the Millevaches plateau, that's well worth a visit. My friends and I had the pleasure of spending a delightful lunch there yesterday, a truly memorable experience. From start to finish, everything was perfect. The service was impeccable, the explanations of the dishes were incredibly precise, and the flavors and tastes on the plate were perfectly balanced. As an added bonus, we had the opportunity to witness the preparation process firsthand by chatting with the chef. We were truly impressed. Having the chance to compare it to some Michelin-starred establishments, we don't understand how such a restaurant isn't listed in the Michelin Guide or Gault & Millau. We simply hope that this oversight will be corrected by the Michelin Guide in 2026. Thank you, Chef, and sincere congratulations to you and your wife.

19/10/2026: I loved it! The chef is super friendly; the place is small but there's a table with three chairs; most importantly, the pizza was prepared incredibly quickly and was delicious. A medium pizza (a good size, enough for two people) and two soft drinks came to €12; pretty good… I would definitely recommend it.

02/10/2026: Found on The Fork, we were pleasantly surprised by this place! The homemade pasta is original and delicious! The boys loved the carbonara, but were less keen on the pasta of the day and the salmon, which lacked sufficient toppings. The tiramisu was also a hit! A little more bread for those who had the goat cheese as a starter would have been much appreciated.
