17/07/2026: I'm sorry, it's an excellent restaurant, but closed during the summer. I understand better why the region is going under; it's no longer the South of France that attracts people. Good luck to all the wonderful businesses in Saint-Étienne. I live 400 km from Veauchette, but I'll support those who deserve it. I'm so sorry. Come to our place; we haven't had a drop of water for over three months. I'll go to McDonald's with my family. It's a shame, but it's my only option. 26/08/2026: Lemon-flavored syrup served with something that wasn't lemon-flavored, made with bleached water, for €2.75. How do you expect to attract customers? I threw it away; it was undrinkable. It should be passed on to the other side; simpler, certainly, but honest.

22/08/2026: A place that feels a bit out of time, perfect for a relaxing break! Enjoyable tastings with delicious sweet and savory treats… Everything seems to be homemade with passion. We sampled some pastries (pictured) and left with chocolates. A very pleasant place. Courteous service.

16/08/2026: How lucky we were to stumble into le p’tit vert on a very hot day in August. As tourists in Lyon one can often feel like an inconvenience for restaurateurs, but the charming staff and owners here gave us a taste of the local experience. Everything from the Frâicheur salad to the citron givré was beautiful. A lovely place.

07/08/2026: A restaurant that keeps things simple but does them well. The service is very pleasant and you quickly feel at ease. As a bonus, if you keep your eyes peeled, you might even spot a French football legend 👀

27/08/2026: The phone call had already given us a good laugh 😄 And once we arrived, it was confirmed: a lovely, funny, incredibly welcoming restaurant owner who truly went above and beyond, especially with the children! We hadn't made a reservation, and despite that, he found us a table with a smile. Honestly, it's a pleasure to encounter such friendly people! The restaurant is a bit hidden, down below, on a small square, in a truly unique and charming setting. A real gem! We had a wonderful time and highly recommend the place. For the warm welcome, the atmosphere, and especially the good cheer.

08/09/2026: Unfortunately, my visit to this restaurant was a very disappointing experience. The way the server treated me was particularly unpleasant. While I was sharing something personal and emotional, still lost in thought, I was interrupted twice. I found this behavior extremely rude and disrespectful. When a guest opens up and tries to share something, it should go without saying that they should be allowed to finish speaking. Instead, I was made to feel twice that what I had to say wasn't important enough to warrant being listened to. I felt extremely uncomfortable at that moment, and the entire conversation was ruined for me. Especially in a restaurant, where one wants to feel welcome and well taken care of, I expect a certain level of respect and, above all, attentiveness towards the guests. For me, good service isn't just about bringing food and drinks, but also about treating people with decency and respect. This experience, unfortunately, left a very negative impression on me. That's a real shame - because a single instance of such behavior can completely ruin an otherwise lovely restaurant visit.

16/08/2026: During a spontaneous lunch break while on vacation in the Alpilles, I tried two kinds of their "Creations" California rolls and their special vinegared rice. Absolutely delicious! 😋 Plus, the person who served me was incredibly friendly. I highly recommend it.
