Always guaranteed a kind, warm welcome, excellent home cooking, generous portions and such a lovely atmosphere. One of the family’s favourite places to go for all generations. Fills up fast, worth booking in advance.

28/04/2026: I'm going to tell you about my totally surreal experience at a restaurant in Marseille. I'd spotted the place with one thing in mind: to enjoy some gorgeous plates of strawberries and whipped cream. We arrived, ready to order… four desserts and coffees. Nothing out of the ordinary, at the end of service, you know. And then… a surreal scene. The waiter—or rather, the one I assume was the owner—looked at us and told us, very seriously, that it wasn't possible to come "just for desserts" because, and I quote, "this is a restaurant." At the time, I honestly thought it was a joke. But no. According to him, if we wanted strawberries, we had to take a punnet… and go eat them somewhere else. Yes, really. Literally. Since when can't you sit down at the end of service and have four desserts and four drinks? Has that become some kind of revolutionary concept? The worst part: he brushed us off without a second thought, as if we were asking for something absurd. Honestly, between the nonexistent welcome and the completely illogical approach, you have to wonder if the goal is to drive customers away. I'm still shocked. And above all… stunned by such a level of ridiculousness.

28/04/2026: The crepes were very good. The only downside was that several typical ingredients were missing, which meant we had to change our meal several times.

20/04/2026: The pros: The crepes are very good and the restaurant is really beautiful, very rustic. The cons: The background music is an NRJ-style radio station which clearly clashes with the creperie's atmosphere; the dessert (Kouign Amann) is rather dry, oddly enough, but still tasty; and the worst part, really... are the little log chairs. Sure, they're rustic and authentic, but not at all comfortable. I just couldn't wait to get up.

14/03/2026: A restaurant I highly recommend. Very friendly atmosphere and welcome, extensive menu. The pizzas 🍕 are excellent, especially the crust. The children's menu is fantastic, with lovely touches for dessert. Thank you to the waiter for his friendliness. We'll be back. The Gavroy Family.

27/03/2026: Just a phone call for me! And it was a complete nightmare! I still can't believe how a staff member, and then the manager, spoke to me! I was subjected to an obnoxious and bossy tone, not at all the cordiality she later claimed! And when I finally canceled my reservation, disliking her manner, I was told to "Get lost!" before she hung up! And when I then asked to speak to a manager, he completely sided with his employee, telling me that it was my tone that had caused the situation! In short, people who think they're above everyone else spoke to me like I was nothing, simply because I had visited The Fork website to take advantage of a promotion! So, I'm not an interesting customer for them! For their bottom line! They pretend to be passionate restaurateurs, but I spoke to two people only interested in how much money they make! Then they complain when it's empty! Meanwhile, we spent our money elsewhere at restaurants that respect their customers!

15/03/2026: A huge thank you to Café des Chineurs and our waitress Albane. We had a wonderful time at your establishment, which is marvelous in its decor and ambiance. The food was wonderful, from the homemade hummus and cloud-shaped pastries to the sweet potato fries, eggplant fritters, and pancakes... excellent cuisine that wasn't greasy, delicious, and perfectly seasoned. Congratulations to the kitchen! The service was excellent. A huge thank you to Albane for your professionalism, patience, kindness, advice on our wine and cocktail selections, and your smile. We will be back soon to enjoy your food in your fabulous setting and receive Albane's wonderful service. It's so nice to see establishments like yours still exist in Nice. 01/04/2026: Quite a good selection of vegetarian options, rather clean and pleasant.

31/03/2026: We had stopped going there due to inflated prices and a sharp decline in quality. Since the renovations, the place is cozier, and the ryu rolls with sundried tomatoes are gone. They're back to basics without too many frills, and that's what makes Zen-Saï so great: knowing exactly what you're going to get on your plate. The Shinobi is back at €50 (see photo), but they no longer serve appetizers. Things are looking up for the future.

07/04/2026: A very good experience at this restaurant. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The galettes and crêpes are excellent, all at a very reasonable price. One small drawback: there wasn't a glass for drinking water during the meal. I highly recommend it!
