The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. We absolutely loved it! It's a place not to be missed and deserves to be recognized. 23/09/2026: After visiting Maillebois Castle, we went to the restaurant Le Sébastopol. The restaurant has been completely renovated and the decor is tasteful. We received a very warm welcome despite our late arrival. The dishes were excellent, high-quality, and generous. Very good value for money. You won't be disappointed.

10/10/2026: Good-sized and very tasty pizza at a reasonable price, I recommend it. Very busy on weekends, so consider booking or ordering in advance.

21/08/2026: What a wonderful discovery! Just steps from the town center and its tourist-packed restaurants, we stumbled upon a family-run crêperie where time seemed to stand still. The welcome was warm and friendly, and we enjoyed delicious traditional Breton crêpes with buttermilk. An authentic crêperie that we'll remember fondly.

16/08/2026: I've rarely eaten such good crêpes. The place is simple and authentic, without the pretension you find elsewhere. The people who run this crêperie know their craft. Prices are very reasonable.

25/10/2026: A wonderful discovery! Nestled in the countryside, this restaurant, which welcomed us for lunch on a Sunday, offers excellent value for money. The Gascon salad, part of the €27 set menu, is generous and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Special mention goes to the superb foie gras. The menu also includes daily specials. The side dishes, in our opinion, lacked a bit of warmth. They also reflect the restaurant's catering focus without detracting from the overall quality. The service is quick, professional, and friendly. It's worth noting the very reasonable prices on the wine list. We'll be back to explore the restaurant side of things, as today the service was taking place in the large event space. Thank you and congratulations on your hard work.

22/10/2026: In a large room, a warm welcome, a generous and very affordable full menu, excellent value for money (choice of starters, varied dishes with side dishes according to your food intolerances, even when booking 30 minutes before arriving), choice of dessert, rosé and coffee included (17.5 euros).

18/09/2026: An excellent lunch. I discovered this restaurant by chance. The owner suggested the daily special: salmon steak with sautéed vegetables (it was Friday, so why not?). I savored it (the word is apt) at the counter; it arrived in exactly five minutes. The fish was cooked to perfection, the vegetables were delicious, almost crisp, and above all—and this is rare enough to be worth mentioning—the sauce was excellent. I commend the cooking, the ingredients, and the sauce, all delivered with the attentive service typical of good old-fashioned neighborhood restaurants. I haven't mentioned the prices, but they are very reasonable. I highly recommend it and hope to return.

25/08/2026: A superb experience at this inn! Everything was perfect, the homemade food was excellent from start to finish. The owner was charming and attentive. We highly recommend this little inn near Chinon, which easily deserves 5 stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 It's a hidden gem!

03/10/2026: Lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Friendly service and delicious food. A very tender hanger steak, a perfectly crispy savory Paris-Vest. The desserts (a Pavlova) were to die for.

30/09/2026: Great place for quick, inexpensive, quality pizza. We got chorizo(spicy sausage, ya know, pepperoni) topping. Tasty cheese and crust (thin). Takeaway and cash only. Highly recommended if you are staying nearby.
