16/08/2026: Superb spot! Lovely shaded terrace with the option to order oysters, shrimp, or tarte flambée on the side. If the terrace is full, or if you're in a large group, the interior is charming and offers a taste of the past! Behind the bar, a smiling and friendly waitress!

22/07/2026: It's a shame, a few years ago I would have recommended this restaurant, now the dishes are certainly prepared in advance, the chicken tastes like it's been in the fridge, it's disgusting!! There are very few spices in the dishes, but the carrots are unlimited, what a disgrace!

08/07/2026: A Senegalese restaurant. Small, nicely decorated, but without a terrace. We loved the food; it was delicious. The price was reasonable and very good. The service was excellent and friendly. We took recommendations from other diners and were very happy with the chicken in peanut sauce and the chicken in vegetable sauce. The tea was also very good.

25/05/2026: The restaurant is expensive, but the quality is there. You get a view of the ocean and the Dune du Pilat as soon as you sit down! Absolutely stunning!

24/05/2026: As a local resident of Arcachon, I'm familiar with the local establishments and therefore feel compelled to share my experience compared to other places I've tried. For the price, the view is undeniably lovely and definitely enhances the experience. However, the menu selection and service leave something to be desired. The wait for our food was quite long, and as for the champagne, it felt almost like we had to serve ourselves. At €100, such a limited menu offering, like three scoops of sorbet, seems a bit meager, especially for an establishment that aims to position itself as a premium restaurant. There are plenty of staff, but the organization is inefficient. This is all the more surprising given that the service is much better downstairs at the hotel, where the portions are far more generous, with a wider selection at the brasserie. Find the mistake… In short: very beautiful view, but the overall experience doesn't quite live up to the price.

08/04/2026: I spent one night at the hotel with my two children. The reception was very friendly and accommodating. The room was quite small, but perfectly adequate for one night. Unfortunately, the shower drain wasn't working properly, which made it a bit difficult when three of us wanted to shower together. Perhaps that should be looked into. We had to book breakfast separately, but we knew that from the start. The buffet was ample and good. There was really nothing lacking. The service was also very good. Overall, we were satisfied.

07/04/2026: We had a wonderful time at the Hotel Les Alpgaes. The location is ideal, just steps from the slopes, with the option to walk there. The view is also beautiful. The room had everything you need for a good, quiet night's sleep. Finally, the welcome was excellent.

10/08/2026: Lovely little restaurant. I had to buy Buckley pancakes with salmon and goat cheese which was quite tasty. Others had the truffle pasta and Caesar salad with chicken. And we had one child's meal which was pasta with breaded chicken. Everything was great except that the chicken was very overcooked, quite dry and unappetizing.

02/09/2026: I ordered a pizza with a crème fraîche base, mushrooms, and salmon, and frankly, it was excellent! 👌 The pizza was very good, generously topped, and the ingredients were high quality. Special mention to the servers, who were super welcoming, smiling, and professional. A very good experience, I recommend it! 🍕👏

31/08/2026: A very peculiar place. I'd heard about home-cooked restaurants, with home-style service and cuisine, but this was my first time visiting such a place. We don't speak French, which I'm a bit embarrassed about, because we love traveling around this country, and knowing the language would be helpful, especially in places where the elderly lady didn't speak English. Despite this, we managed to communicate, or rather, we did. The menu offered a few options, and the entire meal consisted of an appetizer, main course, and dessert. The dishes were written in chalk on a small blackboard with beautiful flourishes that my translator couldn't handle, so I don't know what we ate. But it was delicious, home-cooked, and with great "grandma-like" care. The cost was €36 for two people. I highly recommend it, especially to those who appreciate the local atmosphere and other people.

15/08/2026: My wife and I were welcomed at the last minute (and slightly early) yesterday and had one of the best evenings we've had in recent memory. The service was exceptional, very accommodating and attentive without being intrusive. The food was delicious (especially the homemade jam that comes with the foie gras and the beef main course). I 100% recommend stopping by and will return next time I'm in the area.
