10/10/2026: An excellent restaurant that I highly recommend! The cuisine is refined, flavorful, and prepared with the freshest ingredients. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a particularly pleasant reception that immediately makes you feel right at home. There's a real family spirit, all within an elegant and refined setting. A truly wonderful experience, both in terms of the food and the service. We will definitely be back!

07/07/2026: A somewhat chic restaurant where everyone is warmly welcome, but it is probably less advisable to arrive here in shorts, a t-shirt, and hiking boots 😉. Gastronomic cuisine and very attentive service. So far the best restaurant during our holiday in France. Refined and delicious. Very reasonable price for the level you get on your plate. I would go back in a heartbeat. The decor is also top-notch. We sat on the beautiful and atmospheric terrace, surrounded by an excellently maintained garden. The interior is also tastefully decorated. Also nice: parking available at the restaurant.

30/08/2026: We stopped by for a coffee late in the morning but ended up staying for lunch. A wonderful discovery! The staff were very friendly, the atmosphere warm, and the dishes authentic and delicious, all at an excellent price. We were served quickly despite it being busy. Even though we live near Evian, we will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

15/09/2026: Fougères has "ITS BISTRO"! A friendly place. The owner, a true pro at good food, knows how to make you want to try his creations. The very attentive waiter can tell you all about your meal. A place where many celebrities who have come to perform in the theater have left photo mementos that cover a wall upstairs. We enjoyed it twice during our week-long holiday. Thank you for your welcome!!!! A MUST-TRY!!!!

04/09/2026: A very atmospheric bistro. There was a small ground floor dining area and space upstairs for about 30 diners. The ground floor area was full so we were guided upstairs. The stairs were narrow and not suitable for disabled but we had no trouble. The waiter was very friendly, knowledgeable and helped us decide. He told us they had a max of 30 customers at any one time because it allows them to concentrate on service and quality of food. The food was very tasty, the best burger in a long time. We met the chef / owner as we left. What a nice man, very pleasant. A lovely place to eat.

13/10/2026: Hello, We were looking for a place to have lunch. We chose the Café de la Poste in La Bourboule. From the moment we entered, we felt a special atmosphere (yes, atmosphere!). We were greeted by a charming young woman. They offered a simple set menu: starter and main course or main course and dessert. Everything was excellent. Fresh, well-prepared ingredients. The chef came to greet us. We told him how much we loved this place, which delighted our taste buds, ears, and eyes. A fantastic place! Go there!

30/06/2026: Our experience in this boulangerie that I was expecting to be brief turned out to be a delightful 45min. The quality of the artisanal products they produce is beyond what we can usually find in France which is already a bar set quite high. They also have delicious specialties coming from a few eastern Europe family recipes. I dont recall the names but my taste buds will undoubtly remember this for quite some time. The baker is the mom of the family and she is also a talented artist painter, she has a few of her beautiful pieces displayed on the walls. A young woman, her daughter, is helping her mom with marketing, social media, and clients services. She is a smart, kind and passionate woman that was successful in getting my attention. So much so that I am taking the time to write here one of my very rare reviews. I could not recommend enough to go spend sometime in their boulangerie or at least spare a couple minutes to go grab a croissant, chocolatine etc... and let your taste buds enjoy a few minutes of deliciousnesssss 😋
