22/08/2026: As the best restaurant in Tarbes, it was a must-visit. Reservations were recommended, the tasting menu was excellent, the hours were convenient, and the service was attentive. Special thanks to Lucie, who was very kind and efficient. A restaurant to enjoy before the Michelin Guide crushes it.

16/07/2026: We came in a group of 10 people… The comedians themselves were good and the show was good too, but the presenter was very annoying. He kept insisting on the amount given in the hat. We felt obliged to give. Being told once or twice is fine, but to be insulted about it for more than 15 minutes is too much, and I wasn't the only one… In short, it ruined the enjoyment of the evening, which we had already paid for.

07/08/2026: Today's pizza is Margherita. As an Italian, I think this pizzeria is a must-visit for all lovers of good food and pizza. They have mastered the dough, carefully selected ingredients, and are attentive to their customers. A sunset over the sea and Albano's "Felicita" (Happiness) are a treat for everyone who eats here.

01/08/2026: A wonderful discovery. The menu, written on a chalkboard, changes daily. Fresh, seasonal produce. Beautifully executed seasonings, jus, and sauces. A lovely terrace in the summer. Excellent cocktail and wine list. The service is a little slow, but we appreciate the time it takes...

The restaurant manages the impressive feat of offering a regularly changing menu, always featuring seasonal produce, and often even vegetables from its own garden.
Both the appetizers and main courses combine consistently interesting, well-balanced, and perfectly proportioned flavors. The service is also always pleasant and attentive.
In short, don't hesitate: head straight to Les Genets!

08/07/2026: Amazing little bar at a very quaint spot! The drinks were really nice and at very reasonable prices. The service was also quick and the girl working at the bar was really sweet and friendly.
13/06/2026: Added fees when paying with a foreign card. This practice is completely illegal in France. I'll give it a chance to resolve this quickly, then report it to the DGCCRF (French Directorate General for Competition Policy, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control) via SignalConso on my next visit. Please reread Article L. 112-12. This practice is punishable by a fine of €15,000.

We brought our baby, and they were happy to provide a high chair for him.
The food was delicious, and the side dishes on the tasting menu were customizable (hot or cold) to suit your preferences during this warm weather. Don't miss out, go for it!
