29/06/2026: A wonderful discovery! Lovely setting, a family-run establishment for 100 years and four generations. A superb menu featuring high-quality, fresh ingredients, and a great wine list. We had a wonderful evening and will gladly return!

23/06/2026: An absolutely perfect moment to celebrate our 6 years together! A huge thank you to the entire team at La Maison des Bois for their warm welcome, their professionalism, and the thoughtful touch at dessert time, which was truly touching. The food was delicious from start to finish, and the setting is beautifully green and superbly maintained. We will return with immense pleasure!

30/06/2026: A small roadside restaurant, impossible to miss. I opted for the platter: tentacles, cuttlefish, and prawns, all drizzled with a subtle and fragrant Sicilian olive oil. The ingredients were fresh and well-prepared. I recommend it.

28/06/2026: A super friendly and welcoming waitress who exudes authenticity. Excellent food. We couldn't find a single fault!

10/05/2026: Nice bar. But the cocktail menu doesn't change much. Sometimes the bar is booked for private events without any mention on the website or social media, so we come for nothing. On Saturday, May 9th, the bar was closed without any information anywhere. That's unacceptable!

22/02/2026: The waitress was very unpleasant. She wouldn't serve us even though her bar was empty, claiming it was too crowded. I think she was just incredibly lazy.

08/06/2026: A family meal that should have been pleasant was unfortunately ruined by an interminable wait, dishes served in dribs and drabs, and a completely inadequate gesture of goodwill. In short, as someone who lives in the Lyon region and visits Alsace from time to time, I'm definitely crossing this place off my list!

07/06/2026: We arrived at 12 pm and were served at 2 pm – a disgrace! We were the first on the terrace, the last to be served...what a shame, we won't be going back.

14/06/2026: An incredible stay. The entire team, without exception, took excellent care of us and our 8-month-old daughter. They even accommodated specific requests (like a dishwasher in the room). The concierge, the pool, the bar, and the lobby were all very pleasant. This hotel truly deserves its 5 stars and is very kid-friendly. One small drawback was the parking. We were told not to necessarily reserve a space, and upon arrival, the parking lot was full (we may have misunderstood). However, a solution was found without any problems or delays.

08/06/2026: Passing through Deauville for the CSIO, I stopped for tea and to work at the hotel bar. The white tea was delicious, the service impeccable—no complaints there. However, in the bar, I had the charming company of a mouse, which accompanied my tea by scurrying between my legs, wandering between the restaurant area and the lobby, nibbling on leftover chips on the carpet and tiles. I reported Ratatouille's presence to the bar staff, who assured me that management would be informed. While my initial aim in reporting this wasn't to obtain compensation, which I politely declined, a gesture of goodwill would have been appreciated in a 5-star establishment with this level of service. This comment is not intended to recoup anything retroactively. But simply to ensure that this experience isn't repeated by other customers in the coming weeks, and that the relevant teams are indeed alerted. This contrast clashes with the place and its legendary atmosphere.

07/06/2026: A lovely evening at Antonio and Marco's. The service was friendly, the food delicious. The bill was a bit steep, though; it's a proper Italian restaurant, not a small pizzeria!

27/06/2026: Finally, a *real* Japanese restaurant right across the street! Excellent service, authentic and delicious food, nothing like the pseudo-Asian Chinese or Vietnamese places that just make sushi for profit. I highly recommend it!

09/06/2026: A magnificent restaurant! Everything is fresh, local, and absolutely delicious. The desserts are exceptional and worth the trip alone. As someone with celiac disease, I pay particular attention to gluten-free options. I've been a regular at this restaurant for over three years and have never gotten sick. The staff demonstrates great care and a genuine understanding of the challenges associated with celiac disease. The welcome is always warm and attentive. They take the time to prepare meals in advance when needed and are very responsive to their customers. I highly recommend this restaurant!

29/03/2026: Excellent! The squid brandade easily deserves a 25/20, and the rooster was excellent too. Refined, generous, and delicious cuisine—perfect for celebrating a birthday! There were five of us adults, and my two-year-old daughter was delighted too! The waitress was fantastic! We'll definitely be back 🥰 It's rare to find such quality and generosity!

26/06/2026: Fantastic welcome, really friendly. We were four dehydrated and hungry bikers, and we were immediately given a carafe of water before we even started ordering. The service was very quick, and the dish of the day (Hake) was delicious, as were the savory tarts. They also had several beers on tap. For bikers, there are a few designated motorcycle parking spaces right in front of the terrace, in the shade! I highly recommend it! You can choose between seating on the terrace or inside with air conditioning. Everything is clean, and the food is good!
