18/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolute favorite in Menton! I've been coming here for a few years now, and it's simply one of my favorite restaurants in the world. The setting is magnificent, right in the heart of Menton's old town. With a large number of Italian customers, you really feel like you're just across the border. The food is simply extraordinary. The quality is incredible, and the preparation is perfect. I find it very difficult to order anything other than the octopus and squid every time I go: the grilled octopus and squid are the best I've ever eaten, with an incomparable grilled flavor, absolute freshness, and cooked with masterful skill. And their crème caramel, wow! Honestly, it's heavenly. And what can I say about the staff? They are true angels, incredibly kind, extremely professional, and also very funny. A special shout-out to the two waiters who are almost always there: they're real jokers who love their jobs, you can tell right away. I would love to live in Menton! I only have a holiday home in Nice, but every time I go down there, I absolutely have to stop by here. I'll keep going back again and again. It's a must-visit, and I hope nothing ever changes. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

15/07/2026: One of the best Japanese restaurants in the neighborhood. I deducted one star for the ambiance, only because a fan wasn't enough to cool the room. But apart from that, we highly recommend the food and service. We prefer to reserve a table in advance, and takeout is also available.

02/09/2026: During a stroll in Chambéry, we stumbled upon this restaurant. The staff were welcoming, cheerful, and accommodating. The menu looked tempting, but we had to choose and opted for the Savoyard gourmet salad, which was excellent. We skipped dessert, but it looked homemade and appetizing. If you're ever in the area, don't hesitate to come and try some regional dishes!

18/08/2026: A very bad experience at this restaurant. We waited about 10 minutes just to get our drinks, and then we had to wait even longer before anyone came to take our order. The service was incredibly slow and disorganized. The food arrived barely warm, which was already disappointing. But the most unacceptable thing was that one of my friends didn't even get his pizza. Since we had a movie planned, he ended up having to leave without having eaten. And to top it all off, the prices are quite high compared to the portions served. You end up eating very little for the price you pay. Between the wait, the food not being hot enough, a dish completely forgotten, and portions that don't really justify the prices, the experience was frankly disappointing. I do not recommend this restaurant.

07/08/2026: ⭐️⭐️ A disappointment The evening with friends was pleasant, but our experience at Café Charmant left us wanting more. The service lacked precision, and the roadside terrace wasn't particularly inviting. The dishes, while attractively presented, proved rather disappointing, some even being served cold. We expected more given the menu. An address that lives up to its name… but where, unfortunately, the charm simply wasn't there. We won't be returning.

04/08/2026: The place to be in the area if you're passing through or on vacation 👌🏾 I'd even call it the ambush. From appetizer to dessert, it was perfect. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly. There are two areas: one with a bar and the other with a buffet. Reservations are recommended as the restaurant is popular with regulars, so play it safe and book in advance 👌🏾 At the end of your meal, order an Irish coffee 🙏🏿💋

29/07/2026: Very nice stuff that was able to get our very limited French and was super nice in general. The menu is also very affordable, the salad was nice, especially the vinaigrette and the hommous and aubgerine was very solid as an entry. If you search for a very pleasant place for launch with good food, you can go for sure to this place.
