14/08/2026: Very rude reception, very unfriendly, I can't say anything about the food as we were refused service even though half the seats were free and probably no longer reserved at 8 pm.

20/08/2026: I think your response ultimately reveals much more about your establishment than my review. I'd simply like to clarify a few points: yes, my friend was coming from Marseille by train, and her train was delayed. I took the trouble to call you to let you know, precisely out of respect for your organization. While we arrived later than expected, that didn't give you the right to speak to us that way, nor, especially, to follow us to the parking lot and shout at us. Regarding the table, I never asked to "rule the roost." I simply asked very politely if it would be possible to sit at a table for two that was right next to us. You were free to refuse, and we were equally free to leave if we weren't comfortable. In fact, we left politely, without any fuss or disrespect to anyone. I never criticized your waitress for being pregnant. Being pregnant is absolutely not the issue. What bothered me was the way my request was received and the reaction that followed. As for your husband following us to the parking lot to "put us in our place," I'll let you judge for yourself how inappropriate this behavior was towards two customers who had just left your establishment. Finally, the remarks about "my age," my "friend from Marseille," the customers who supposedly made fun of us, or even the "two fewer frustrated customers" are completely unnecessary and particularly contemptuous. You had every right to give your side of the story, but you could have done so without belittling us personally. Therefore, I stand by my opinion and simply regret having had this experience. I wish you all the best and, above all, much success in the future of your establishment.

08/06/2026: A sure bet! We always receive a warm welcome from Armand, Noel, and the whole team. We're never disappointed by the food; everything is always perfectly executed, and the menu price is extremely reasonable considering the quality of the ingredients. The terrace is very pleasant.

24/08/2026: Excellent restaurant in Briare. A wonderful discovery. Everything is homemade (from appetizers to desserts), and it shows in the dishes. I ordered smoked chicken, and the smoky flavor was even present in the sauce. The steak tartare was also perfectly seasoned. The chef/owner is very friendly and puts his heart into his cooking. There might be a bit of a wait, but it's well worth it.

27/07/2026: A very lovely elderly woman set the table for us while singing. The restaurant's seating arrangement and number of tables were such that the staff could easily keep track of everyone's seating, so we didn't feel anxious while waiting for our food. The beef bourguignon was delicious, but I personally thought it was a little on the fatty side.

24/08/2026: Beware of the service. We encountered a nonchalant waitress who seemed annoyed to be working. Otherwise, our burgers and desserts were good. The salad was very small and there were hardly any fries with the burgers.

A genuine success and a gastronomic delight, enhanced by impeccable service and some very interesting wine pairings, expertly presented and explained. I highly recommend this wonderful establishment, run with great care and talent! It's definitely worth the trip.
