30/08/2024: The place is very beautiful, refined and the cuisine is very well prepared, congratulations to the chef, he manages to make delicious dishes and as they say, pull out all the stops. We can regret that the only three dishes on the menu are steak tartare, chicken and cod. Very basic then. Chicken remains chicken, a dish that you would rather see on the children's menu. For desserts there is also a chocolate option missing. Pavlova and lemon tart both contain merengue which not everyone likes.
The wine list, the shortest ever seen: while we are in a wine estate, we have the choice between a white wine, a rosé and two reds..... What a shame.

The very attentive staff contributes greatly to this.
The catering is excellent with exquisite dishes as for the breakfasts which were very appreciated with fresh and local products;

30/09/2024: Reception a little cold without really finding a reservation made by email although validated... Customers without reservations took it for their rank. Either. Careful and original dishes. Tips for pairing wine. Pleasant room, few tables so it's almost intimate.
Service with good timing but we felt a little pressure. Bad day?
Incorrect addition with an extra coffee but we will say that it was the little extra.

30/08/2024: This is truly a hidden gem. Tucked away but easy to access main routes it was a real find. The staff were warm and welcoming and we had a great overnight stay. We had a restorative cup of tea on the sunny terrace after a long drive and then enjoyed the very good sized pool. Dinner was fabulous. A great menu and a real French dining experience sat on the terrace. The wine list was an enormous book and an event in itself.
We slept extremely well and our interconnecting rooms were a mix of brand new bathrooms with more traditional bedroom fittings. To be honest I don't think the website pictures do it justice - it was much better in the flesh.
We enjoyed walking the dog in the morning near the lovely fields and then a great breakfast and last dip in the pool before heading back to Calais.
Merci beaucoup for the fabulous stay!

24/09/2024: After a very warm welcome, you can already smell the good scents emanating from the kitchen (which is open and extremely clean). We cannot choose our menu but simply indulge in the culinary inspirations of the moment from the owner who only uses fresh and local products. Colors, exotic flavors, a very well-balanced combination of spices....In short, a very nice discovery which took us to South America for a meal, a real treat. Everything was perfect, right down to the decoration of the toilets! We will come back with great pleasure.

08/09/2024: What a nice surprise from the aperitif to the dessert, a very warm welcome, a nice and well-appointed interior.
I'm a good eater, I went there for a family meal with a 140 kilometer cycling event, suffice to say I was hungry.
The dishes are as fine as they are generous. The presentation is really elaborate, even for the children's menu, which shows the attention to detail.
A big congratulations to this establishment and its manager, he can be proud of the work accomplished.

On avait déjà déjeuner a La Renaissance sans être déçu....on a organisé le dîner de notre mariage le 6 juillet 2024, ....une grande réussite et un menu somptueux et original. L'équipe très professionnelle et discrète. Le boss est accessible et sympathique 👍👍👍👍Allez y découvrir et savourer......
