03/04/2026: Special evening 🐸, as usual a friendly welcome...set menu at €29 and €32 for the 350g portion...nothing to complain about, it remains very affordable, however the country terrine is still the same as it has been for ages...and the Norwegian omelet dessert, I would say more like a lightly meringued vacherin glacé, like the usual dessert for ages...otherwise the service was very, very slow...a shame, anyway

23/03/2026: We spent a nice evening in March 2026. The food was excellent, the service was perfect but it seems that we are stuck in the 80's. It's really sad because it gives an old school feeling and some changes of furniture, etc. will improve the guests' impression. Another surprise, was that as a woman, you don't have the price of the dishes on your menu. In 2026, it seems completely crazy and I really cannot understand it.

A charming place full of character with generous and flavorful cuisine. Daily specials and desserts in addition to the regular menu. Amazing fries! Generous and delicious fish and chips. Go for it!

Two stars deducted for the sake glass. Not the drink itself—the lychee flavor that develops once it warms the palate was truly fantastic—but the glass itself was really not great. 😐

So I have mixed feelings: the place has potential, but the service is good, the food is average, so overall it's a 3/5.

01/04/2026: A truly great spot off the beaten tourist track. Tucked away on a small street, it's a favorite haunt of Cannes' discerning palates. The owner himself does the cooking and knows how to delight his guests. The service is both efficient and friendly, and the bill is very reasonable for the quality of the food. Highly recommended.

05/04/2026: As a long-time customer, I'm disappointed by the reduced portion sizes while the prices have increased. (In addition to the 10% discount no longer applied to takeaway orders, which was my case.) Perhaps this isn't the case for dine-in orders...
