The lady who prepared our order was very kind and pleasant, explaining to me what was included and what wasn't in the deal. The kebab was delicious (and I admit I'm quite picky about kebabs!) and the fries were very good too. Thank you very much

13/06/2025: It's always a pleasure to come here! I've never had the slightest problem: the service is impeccable, and the restaurateurs are extremely kind, respectful, and welcoming. You can tell they care about doing a good job, and it shows in both the food and the atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

12/04/2026: We arrived by chance after a tree fell across the road blocking our way. Anne, the owner, welcomed us at almost 11 pm, showed us to a magnificent and charming room, and ensured we had an incredibly peaceful night's rest. Breakfast was equally incredible; everything was homemade with care, creativity, and passion. The flavors were exceptional, just as they were when we continued our stay in the restaurant that evening. Because yes, it wasn't just a temporary stopover! We extended our stay in this beautiful and welcoming establishment. But let's get back to the restaurant. Anne is still at the helm in the kitchen with the same talent and passion. She delights her guests with flavorful cuisine, classic dishes from our gastronomy, and a touch of creativity. The small vegetable garden and herb garden that Anne cultivates on her magnificent, verdant terrace also contribute to her delicious cooking. As you can see, we highly recommend a stop at the Logis Hôtel Auberge la Barguillère, where we will definitely return!

10/04/2026: Everything was perfect during our stay. Great communication with Anne, the owner/property manager, easy check-in, spotless rooms in a charming building, parking nearby. We had breakfast which was delicious; everything you can imagine: eggs, ham, cheese, biscuits, croissants, rhubarb and ginger marmelade, home-made yogurt, flan, banana bread, hot cocoa and the yummiest coffee. So much food, we had some leftovers for the road! The place is about 10 min outside of Foix which is not necessarily an issue. If I ever return to Foix, I will return to Anne’s!

21/04/2026: A warm welcome, a table by the fireplace, attentive waiters and waitresses, and a consistently interesting menu featuring both classic and innovative dishes. Excellent fries, flavorful meats grilled in the fireplace! Crisp vegetables and delicious desserts, from profiteroles to a saucepan of melted chocolate poured over the cabbage and the lime cheesecake! There is no wheelchair access, as the restaurant is on the first floor with a spiral metal staircase. The restrooms on the ground floor are a bit dated and could use some improvements, especially when the restaurant is full, particularly in summer. The restaurant has a large capacity for groups, with private areas available, including round tables. Parking is available on the farm grounds, in front of the restaurant, or along the road at the edge of the property. Be careful of your car's undercarriage, as it's not designed for parking. Reservations are recommended for dinner, especially in summer, to secure a spot on the terrace.

06/04/2026: Opening weekend to forget. Servers more concerned with the cash register than with their customers. The food was good, except for one cod dish that tasted fishy. Oh, and I almost forgot, all this on the terrace in a temperature of only 13°C. Before you run, you have to learn to walk.

01/05/2026: Authentic. Very warm welcome. Delicious food, impeccable service – we are delighted with this wonderful discovery before leaving for Japan in less than a month. We were completely immersed in the atmosphere from beginning to end. Arigato gozaimasu 🙏🏻

23/04/2026: Disappointed. I went there for dinner. Ordered Ramen but nothing like other customers shared photos. Nor as show in the restaurant window. Came with a small portion and it's not Ramen. The soup should be broth not miso. Miso soup is cheaper than proper broth. The Ramen was salty, even a bit bitter.

10/02/2026: Best restaurant I've ever been to. The owner is exceptionally kind, and the generous portions are matched only by their delicious flavors. All in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere with excellent beers. Thanks again for the warm welcome!

28/04/2026: Nice location. Efficient staff. Fast service. I found the wheat crepes to be too thin and not filled enough. The salted caramel crepe was disappointing.

26/04/2026: A very enjoyable experience. The menu is very appealing. The patty burger was excellent and generous, with a fried egg, caramelized onions, and homemade sauce. The patties were also a hit. We'll be back for the other dishes that looked tempting ;-)

14/04/2026: From a culinary perspective, this Périgord galette was very disappointing—bland and dry. Other dishes are probably better. As for the atmosphere, it was quite uncomfortable to hear the cooks (and the owner) loudly disparaging an (absent) employee and the neighboring restaurant. This lack of discretion is truly unprofessional.

24/03/2026: Very disappointed with my Deliveroo order. The pizza arrived practically frozen, spilled in the box. Please take care of your deliveries as you do with the pizzas for customers who eat in. I will never order again.

18/04/2026: We stopped for a bite to eat on our way to our holiday destination, and the staff were incredibly kind to the whole family. They even brought out a mooing toy to entertain my daughter and maybe her father too. But most importantly, we left with full stomachs and smiles on our faces. I highly recommend it.
