25/05/2026: Excellent lunch in this heat! I was served by the chef himself (thank you, Karl!). The eggs mayonnaise were delicious and beautifully presented. This was followed by a chilled mushroom velouté, gazpacho-style, topped with toasted hazelnuts—a real treat! Thank you for the meal and the warm welcome! 🙏😊

12/04/2026: Overall, we were very satisfied with our visit to Restaurant La Chaudanne in Morzine. The location is fantastic, especially if you're coming straight from the slopes – perfect for a relaxing break. The food was high quality, freshly prepared, and delicious. The regional specialties are particularly recommended. The portions were also generous. The service was friendly and attentive, although at times a little stressed due to the high volume of customers – which is understandable given the location. A bit more attention and speed would have been the icing on the cake. The ambiance is cozy and suits the alpine setting, but could be a bit more modern in some areas. All in all, a very solid restaurant with good food and a great location – we'll definitely be back!

09/04/2026: The best fondue we've ever had, by far, with excellent service. However, the vegetarian/vegan tart, which looked very promising, wasn't well made; the vegetarian in our group was very disappointed. The dish could easily have been better executed. The rest of us were very satisfied with our meals.

15/06/2026: I am not sure how this is rated a 4-star hotel. The property feels old and run-down, and the rooms feel like a cheap roadside motel. The staff is incredibly rude, and the level of customer service is unlike anything I have experienced in the South of France. Dinner at L'Ensemble was a disaster— 15 min sitting down before someone offered us water and took drink orders. Over two hours to receive our food, my husband's swordfish was raw, my steak was like rubber, and the staff is just entirely indifferent. To make matters worse, there is nowhere else to eat besides the one restaurant. The pool bar/restaurant is only open June 27 till end of August, so there is no poolside service. I came here to spend five days while my daughter attends tennis camp for 2 weeks, and the pool is closed for private events three of those five days, so I can't even hang out by the pool while shes training. Nothing short of disappointing. This will be my first and last stay here. The only redeeming quality is the beautiful tennis facility. Take your money elsewhere and stay somewhere that actually cares about the guests and delivers a true 4-star resort experience.

17/03/2026: The attentive service and warm welcome were on par with the excellent cuisine. We thoroughly enjoyed both the main courses and the desserts. Don't hesitate to visit this establishment.

24/05/2026: I was very disappointed by this experience. The service was practically nonexistent: we weren't even offered a carafe of water during the entire meal… For a restaurant at this price, it's frankly unacceptable. As for the food, the fries were truly awful, like cardboard! The scallops and shrimp arrived cold, bland, and completely tasteless. We expected much better given the final bill. The beef skewer was as tough as a rock. In the end, the quality/price ratio was very disappointing. I do not recommend it.

The staff is lovely; you can tell they're making sure your experience is perfect! 🙏🏼 The food is flawless; you can tell it's homemade and generous portions, but always delicious. 😋 As for the restaurant's decor, I love the traditional oriental ambiance. Go without hesitation and prepare yourself—it's incredible!

30/06/2026: A wonderful discovery during a breakfast break... once seated, I was immediately taken care of by a waiter. A very warm welcome and a peaceful atmosphere, which I appreciated. The coffee was delicious, as was the croissant, which was warm and crispy. A truly lovely experience, and I would definitely return next time I'm in the area. 😃👍

21/06/2026: We chose this restaurant opposite the Luxembourg Gardens on a whim, and we were so glad we did! My friend and I were warmly welcomed, along with my friend's Maltese dogs, without anyone saying a word. We had beef carpaccio for lunch, which was beautifully presented and delicious; a waiter even came by to refill our sparkling water. We were the last to leave the restaurant, and we even chatted for quite a while with the owner… I highly recommend this restaurant for both the food and the service.
