The Chef will amaze you with his dishes prepared in an unexpected way, and throughout the meal, pleasant surprises await you!! Of all the addresses we have been able to visit, La forge is at the top!!!

05/07/2025: I highly recommend this restaurant! The service is impeccable, with smiling, attentive waitresses who listen to their customers. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with pizzas and aperitif cocktails, a nice surprise! The dishes are generous and delicious, with a special mention for the savory pizzas with fresh basil. The homemade hot sauce is a real plus, which demonstrates the care and seriousness brought to the kitchen. A big congratulations also to the owner, always attentive and ready to do anything to satisfy his customers. A place not to be missed!
03/07/2025: Hello, we had two menus, one for 14 and one for 16 euros. There are very few places with a starter, main course and dessert for 16 euros, and what's more, we had a great time with top-notch service. Recommended.

They meet your specific dietary needs, a terrace is offered as well as a barnum, if you cross the small road you reach a very pretty chapel then a small pleasant river of the Sioule Forte, I highly recommend. 17/01/2025: Nice welcome, spacious and pleasant restaurant. Smiling but impersonal service. Sufficient quantity of dishes. A downside for the mini welsh, sandwich bread, cheddar only and not hot enough for the cheese to flow. Average value for money. On the other hand, the excessive entrance fee?
Too bad I didn't have the little spark to have the pleasure of coming back.

small downside the glasses are not clean! fingerprints and dried water from the dishwasher yet pretty glasses it's a shame it's a detail but it's important
the music is too high!

06/12/2024: One-on-one with my partner, the meal is good and our waitress (luckily we didn't have the other one) charming. The next table looks like a family birthday meal, a waiter approaches a teenager and tells him to stop drawing (there is a toddler in this family) and eat, severe cold.
06/12/2024: Good address. We ate fish and chips. Impeccable service and very pleasant staff. The fries were not homemade and that's a shame for this type of restaurant. The children's fish and chips are a little tight (more breading than fish). The fish was however very good but a shade below what we tested in England and Ireland. This remains a very good address with an immediate view of the Loire.

01/09/2024: Nice decoration and atmosphere. On the other hand, 0/5 for the quality of the dishes. It's clearly not worth the price. A Caesar salad served without Caesar sauce, an iced tea served in front of you at the bar with a big container that doesn't tempt you, an extremely bland avocado toast. Thanks to the boss for being understanding, the Caesar salad was not included on the bill.

Fast and very pleasant service 🥰
Wide choice of drinks such as smoothies etc.
But dishes can be improved - Poke a little bland, you don't feel enough of the sauce on the vegetables and be careful the prices are quite high (17 euros per Poke / 5 euros per drink)
But place for a very very nice coffee ☕️🥰

01/09/2024: I can't judge the dishes because we just had a cocktail at this place. The view is great, the staff pleasant and the cocktails very good, well served in quantity and very good value for money!
