05/08/2026: I contacted Le Cohibar by phone at 7:54 PM to reserve a table. As a precaution, I asked what time the restaurant closed. The person on the other end of the line replied, "At bedtime," before hanging up on me. Curious, I went there in person (5 minutes from my hotel). Arriving at 8:10 PM, after reading the menu at the entrance, I indicated that I wanted a table for two. A gentleman then told me that there were no more tables available and suggested I "take a walk" around town and come back in 45 minutes, at 10:00 PM, specifying that there would be a "second round" at that time. However, several tables were clearly free, both inside and on the terrace. After checking the Apple Maps website, which recommended this restaurant, the closing time is listed as 9:00 PM, making a 10:00 PM service impossible. I turned around, taking a few photos/videos as a record. The same man then returned to offer me "a table outside, but it's cold," in the middle of summer, when the temperature was around 20°C (68°F). I stayed in my car. Shortly after, other customers arrived (of a different skin color than mine) and were seated calmly right in front of me, without any mention of imminent closing or the need to come back later. Between the evasive answers on the phone, the inconsistent hours, the initial refusal of a table despite available seats, and then the immediate seating of other customers, I feel I was treated in a discriminatory manner. An establishment should apply the same rules of service to everyone, regardless of origin or skin color. I do not recommend this restaurant until such practices are clearly explained and corrected. A complaint will be filed for discrimination.

20/07/2026: We went for dinner on Saturday evening as a party of four adults and one four-year-old child. Booking was easy through the website. It's not our first time here, and we always enjoy coming back. As always, it's top-notch. Quality ingredients, refined cuisine, beautifully presented dishes, attentive service, a warm atmosphere, and a view of the beach at the end of the day. A truly delightful experience… Pascal.

18/07/2026: We had a lovely time on the enclosed terrace, overlooking the sea wall. The cuisine is refined, and the service is discreet and pleasant! We ate the best pavlova of our lives! Thank you so much to the whole team! We recommend this restaurant 100%!

11/09/2026: This is my first time in Paris. Don’t get me wrong, authentic Parisian food is good, but there was always something missing. But this restaurant exceeded my expectations. It was BEYOND PERFECT. The employees are so friendly, the food was incredibly tasty, nutritious, and generous portion. The music playlist was immaculate; I kept looking up all the wonderful songs they played. The decoration inside was so rich in culture and feels like it could be home. Thank you so much for a wonderful restaurant and wonderful people!

24/07/2026: Excellent restaurant, the portions are generous and the quality is excellent. I loved the Sobrebarriga con Arroz. The service is impeccable and the decor is really nice! I will definitely be back.

30/08/2026: Upon arrival, the waitress wasn't smiling and didn't seem thrilled to see us. She found us a table, and another waitress, much more pleasant, served us. However, the restaurant lacked organization. We didn't receive the condiments we requested, and we arrived too late to be seated. Our dessert orders arrived too late, and the ribeye steak was too tough. It's better than some Hippopotamus restaurants, but it lacks organization and a friendly smile.

26/08/2026: Absolutely fantastic with a varied menu and affordable prices. Friendly service. I highly recommend it and am always delighted. It's a shame we don't have one in our area.

16/06/2026: We had a great group lunch in a lovely atmosphere. The service was professional, friendly, and quick (as we were in a hurry). Some of us opted for the daily special, which was very good, while others chose excellent pizzas!

06/09/2026: This cocktail bar doesn't live up to its reputation. The staff is unpleasant. The cocktails are overpriced and poorly mixed. At certain times, it's impossible to order individual cocktails, for no apparent reason. The terrace is packed; you're constantly crammed in and moved around. I only went once, and I don't plan on going back.

05/09/2026: We waited a little bit but not for long for a table, the food was ok but not great the drinks where the better part of the restaurant and where very popular.

06/08/2026: Exceptional!!! Recommended by C'est meilleur quand c'est bon. The staff is super friendly and the food is absolutely amazing!!! The potato fritters are completely addictive and the reblochonnade (served in a small wrought-iron grill) is excellent. The blueberry tart and the porcini mushroom dessert are a perfect way to end the meal. We'll be back. Well done to the team, they can be very proud.

06/08/2026: A wonderful discovery after watching the "It's Better When It's Good" video. Authentic cuisine. Delicious local products. Impeccable service. Superb atmosphere. The Reblochonnade is amazing. The doughnuts are to die for. The local cheeses are incredibly flavorful. And the desserts are excellent. A true delight! Bravo!

23/07/2026: We went to this restaurant last night and it was a wonderful discovery. First of all, the village of Alet-les-Bains is definitely worth a visit, but we've known that for many years thanks to swimming in the spring-fed pool and in the Aude River. Not to mention canoeing between Couiza and Alet. But yesterday, for my partner's birthday, we booked a table in this very pretty, bucolic setting. A lovely garden where the tables are set up around a central brazier where the food is prepared. And this brazier cooking was excellent. We had salmon and lamb, which were accompanied by succulent seasonal vegetables, also cooked on the brazier, and it was simply perfect. The portions were just right; you don't finish the meal feeling hungry or full. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. The desserts were fantastic. The tarte tatin and the panna cotta were incredible. In short, it was truly perfect for a very reasonable price. I recommend it without any hesitation...
