09/08/2026: The "Do It Yourself" concept taken a bit too far For €10 a pint, I thought I was paying for typical station bar service, but apparently, I've just funded my own waiter training. The wait to order is interminable. When you finally get seated, surprise: they provide you with everything you need to clean the table yourself, and you're also responsible for setting your own cutlery. I almost asked for an apron to go help in the kitchen. The highlight of the show is the staff organization. The servers don't communicate, so a second server came to bring us cutlery... which he literally dropped on me. What followed was a great juggling act as he tried to pick it up, only to drop it back on my shoulders several times. A new kind of fork massage, perhaps? The last time we went, they messed up the same order three times in a row. I thought they'd improved, but no. As for hydration, the carafe of water they served was so dirty you almost expected to see a mutant goldfish swimming in it. We had to send it back (and the water itself really wasn't good). A little adventure bonus: bring your own equipment if you're looking for the restrooms; the journey is pure urban exploration. Once you're there, the choice is strategic: no toilet paper in one, no light in the other. So basically, you either wipe with your hands or pee blindly. To be perfectly honest: the beer is decent and the crepes are good. However, the filling must have been an extra that wasn't on the menu, because it was served almost empty. And to top it all off: the bill. When I said, "I'll take the rest," the waiter completely froze. He didn't understand the concept and didn't know what he still owed... even though the receipt was right there in front of him. A truly baffling moment of mathematical confusion. But at that price, you expect real service, not some kind of participatory circus act. Avoid at all costs!

22/05/2026: A little gem in a charming village nestled in the Ardèche region, close to must-see attractions. A lovely room with comfortable bedding, clean, and all the essentials. It's not a luxury hotel, but a charming inn. The meal was excellent, featuring quality, homemade ingredients. From the owner to the staff... everyone is welcoming, friendly, and warm. An address to remember; we will be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

26/08/2026: Our first visit on the weekend was very enjoyable; the menu was excellent, beautifully presented, and promised a wealth of flavors. On our second visit, midweek, we opted for the "crate" (starter, main course, cheese, dessert, and coffee, all at a lower price). Once again, we were pleasantly surprised by the flavors; this set menu offers exceptional value for money. We highly recommend it because, in addition to the delicious food, you'll also benefit from a very warm welcome and excellent service.

19/08/2026: I discovered this restaurant today and I sincerely regret not having known about it sooner. Everything was perfect: the setting, the quality of the food, the care taken with each dish, and also the warm and attentive welcome from the entire team. My clients and I had a wonderful time in an atmosphere that was both pleasant and refined. A truly excellent restaurant that I recommend without hesitation and where I will gladly return.

09/08/2026: A place I always enjoy going back to. The quality of the ingredients and the cuisine is very good, with a slightly more sophisticated approach than in Italy. The atmosphere is always fantastic!

05/09/2026: What can I say… I've been following their Instagram account since long before they opened and I was really looking forward to checking out this new spot. I hadn't made a reservation, so they told me to sit at a table across the street, with no decorations, no atmosphere. No one showed me to my table, and after 15 minutes, without even getting a menu or anyone coming to greet me, I left. Of course, no one seemed to care either. I was very disappointed by this complete lack of service…

31/08/2026: A really nice new concept for drinks and sharing platters. Ideal for sharing. It needs to be sunny, and if so, the sunset is beautiful. It's not really a traditional restaurant; it's more about the waterfront atmosphere, music, and cocktails. The staff is young and friendly.

04/08/2026: We stopped by on our way home and honestly, we have no regrets. A rustic atmosphere, top-notch service, and incredibly friendly waitresses who seated us comfortably during these hot days. The steak frites was excellent, with homemade fries and a perfectly cooked steak! And I'll add that the meat was absolutely delicious! All served with care and a smile... what more could you ask for? I highly recommend this restaurant!

30/07/2026: As a regular visitor to Northern France, I come to Phileass Fogg whenever I'm in Dax. The owner is fantastic, always welcoming. The atmosphere is perfect, friendly and warm. And the burgers… exceptional, among the best I've ever tasted. A must-try.

30/06/2026: A very nice and pleasant place. The food is really excellent, just the right amount, with something for everyone. The prices are reasonable (18€ for a main course or main course and dessert / 20€ for a starter, main course, and dessert). I recommend this place and I will definitely return.

22/08/2026: Lovely terrace, sophisticated dishes with well-balanced flavors. The welcome is very pleasant and the service impeccable. Recommended by the Routard guide, we weren't disappointed. The prices aren't cheap, but this is entirely justified given the quality and the service. A great place!

18/08/2026: Truly very disappointing. The advertised prices are misleading; be warned, the bill could be hefty. The ribeye steak, ordered "well-done," wasn't cooked after a 1.5-hour wait. The Lorgues market is lovely, but don't rush to this restaurant to escape the sun and your thirst. I hope you have a better experience elsewhere than we did.

20/07/2026: We had a wonderful time! We were touched by the kindness, enthusiasm, and warm welcome of the entire team. The meal was delicious, and the small courtyard at the back is a real bonus, allowing children to play safely. We highly recommend it!
