20/10/2024: Venue fêter mon anniversaire avec mes amis, nous avons pu bénéficier de la salle du bas rien que pour nous (23 personnes) Tout était parfait, de l'accueil, à l'accompagnement dans le choix des menus et de l'organisation du déroulement de l'évenement. Tout cela, dans un décor vintage et un service aux petits soins. Mention spéciale au gérant pour sa sympathie et son professionnalisme. Merci au Germaine qui m'a permis de réaliser une fête inoubliable !

18/09/2023: Decouvert par hasard lors d'une ballade moto en duo. Nous avons été bien accueilli, avec une cuisine simple et à priori fait maison. Nathalie et moi conseillons aux motards qui veulent faire une pause agréable....et aux autres aussi.✌️

27/01/2025: Arriving late on a Sunday at 2 p.m. without reservation, we were welcomed with a smile and comfortably installed facing the port of La Rochelle. The young woman who served us was really professional, pleasant and smiling, and the dishes & desserts we tasted were good, even the children's menu was quality. On this subject, as parents, we are sensitive to welcoming children. There, everything was there: high chair or booster seat, changing area, children's menu, small coloring set... The prices are a little high in our opinion, but we were looking for lunch before going to the aquarium, so it was really very convenient, a good time.

06/09/2024: Great brewery. My beef steak was cooked as requested and melted in the mouth, my wife's hamburger, according to her, was succulent, plus the portions were generous. The boss (bartender) is very friendly, attentive to the needs of his customers and accommodating. We arrived as a couple with a stroller, he did not hesitate to give us a table of four with a small space to put the stroller without obstructing the passage. We were passing through the area, but we recommend it. Best wishes.

06/09/2024: Really quality cuisine, with real research into the sauces. A super accessible chef (Claire) who loves her job, you can see (and feel) it on the plates! Flawless, from aperitif to dessert. Really homemade, which is increasingly rare, and high quality local products. We tasted the gratin of ravioli with Queyras blue cheese, a treat and very hearty, the absolutely divine homemade Burger (with its candied onions, homemade bun, excellent meat cooked to perfection, with Queyras blue cheese), the duck breast with sauce with red fruits, and tiramisu. The plates are very generous. Very good wines (and good food and wine pairing advice from our waitress), and the icing on the cake: an excellent génep. A great discovery, the Guillestrin will undoubtedly see us again!
