10/06/2026: From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the place. We were welcomed by Guillaume, the owner's son, who was completely dedicated to our various requests. After settling into our spotless and spacious room with a large bed and a very comfortable mattress, he invited us to enjoy a homemade aperitif, featuring a tasting of several local products, including bull chorizo ​​and exceptional Camargue oysters. Next, we savored sangre, cooked to perfection over the wood fire in the enormous fireplace, and delicious cheeses, finishing with a caramel flan made with eggs from the estate. A pure delight. After a stroll through the magnificent grounds, we spent a peaceful night. In short, I wholeheartedly recommend this most pleasant and authentic place. 31/05/2026: We came as a couple on a Saturday at lunchtime without a reservation. We were able to eat on the shaded terrace (a welcome touch with the current temperatures). We had the beef carpaccio for €18.50 with fries. And for dessert, I had a very gooey chocolate fondant for €8 (I opted for it without the vanilla ice cream and whipped cream). We thoroughly enjoyed it! 😊

12/04/2026: A real treat! We got burgers to go, and we weren't disappointed. The vegetarian one is exquisite (thank you for the cheese change 🩷), and the meat burgers are delicious. The fries are to die for! A big thumbs up 🎉

11/06/2026: Passing through the area, we popped into this restaurant quite late and it was a pleasant surprise. A very warm welcome, simple yet delicious cuisine with a good selection, the owner working alone in the dining room, very organized and smiling, with a kind word before we left. Everything we appreciate when we're on the road: starter, main course, and dessert for €20 including coffee, and €5 for our glass of Viré-Clessé wine. Bravo, thank you! Claude and François

15/04/2026: We love this restaurant as we always have a warm welcome and good food. We choose the reasonably menu de jour with local wine and are never disappointed. The staff work hard and are efficient and friendly. It’s a good idea to reserve a table as it’s a popular restaurant and often full.

24/04/2026: We spent two nights as a family at La Lionnière bed and breakfast, visiting the Château de Chenonceau and the Beauval Zoo. We highly recommend this peaceful place to those who love tranquility, nature, and animals. The owners gave us a very warm and kind welcome. They introduced us to their animals, who roam freely. We were particularly charmed by Totof, a young castrated goat who loves being brushed, much to the delight of both children and adults. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, and the bedding was very comfortable. We also enjoyed our hostess's delicious homemade crepes and jams. A big thank you!

29/11/2025: The hostess was very welcoming and friendly. The inn is peaceful and the bedding very comfortable: I had two excellent nights' sleep with my children. Breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking a beautiful garden: ideal for starting the day in complete serenity. I'll definitely keep this address in mind for next time.
