18/02/2026: Everything was perfect, and it's the first time I've ever said that about a restaurant. The welcome and interaction were incredibly warm, unlike anything I've ever experienced, from the owner to the servers. The quality of the food was excellent. I've never eaten such good salmon in a restaurant; all the ingredients are fresh. I could eat sushi and sashimi every day if I could—it's paradise for the taste buds. The skewers were perfectly grilled 💯. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this restaurant. As a Japanophile, it's a 10/10 for me. I will definitely be back; this restaurant has become my favorite. ❤️ My order: tempura, maki, sushi, sashimi, skewers. I needed a lemon ice cream to wash down all that delicious food, which was also excellent. TOP 1 ✅️

20/02/2026: Appalling, terrible, zero stars. We had reserved a table for four for my son's birthday. We arrived the day before to be sure of getting a table. Arriving that evening at the exact time, everything was full. We waited 25 minutes standing outside because the restaurant was packed with people waiting at the bar. A measly glass of bad prosecco was the only gesture of goodwill. Moral of the story: the reservation was useless and the party was ruined. The only option left: a very, very negative review of this restaurant. Note: we weren't the only ones in this situation, and there was barely a word of apology.

Positive points: very friendly waiters and owner, excellent and beautifully presented dish, very short wait time, my dessert was homemade (mint ice cream), reasonable price. Negative point: my piece of meat was rare; I had asked for it well-done.

14/03/2026: Tiparothai restaurant in Lille is a wonderful discovery for lovers of Thai cuisine. I particularly enjoyed the shrimp Pad Thai, perfectly balanced between sweet and spicy. The service was warm and the waitress took the time to advise us with great kindness. The decor, with its lanterns and traditional Thai touches, creates a truly exotic atmosphere. A must-visit for savoring authentic cuisine.
