25/07/2026: We went there as a family because I'd heard good things about it. As someone who isn't usually a big fan of this type of restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised by the blend of flavors and by the very kind and professional manager and waiter. I highly recommend this restaurant.

19/08/2026: Family dinner for the second time, the "carte blanche" menu had only one drawback (in my opinion): the mackerel in one of the starters was disappointing in a menu like this. On the other hand, the service was as professional as ever, and the terrace was a real plus—quiet and very pleasant.

31/08/2026: Fantastic restaurant run by a charming couple. We return here year after year and have always been served consistently wonderful food. We have gluten and lactose intolerances - both of which were catered for without any problem. The price is extremely reasonable for the quality of the cooking. I am surprised this restaurant does not have a Michelin Bib Gourmand rating - it certainly delivers that level of quality.

23/08/2026: We recommended to our friends, who were visiting from the UK, to go for their wedding anniversary. They were blown away: reporting it as good as 1 Michelin Star restaurants they’ve enjoyed at home. Outstanding, occasion worthy food, with excellent, facilitative, bilingual service. One of the key points of enjoyment was that they reported spending very little time without food, because the cooking and service was so well timed. Despite the fine food, portions were still well sized, so most of their two hour experience was used eating and drinking - something very close to their hearts. When I collected them the restaurant and surrounding area was radiant with life - with a god cried playing boule on the pitch outside - and created a lovely overall atmosphere under the trees of the exterior dinning space. We can’t wait to go again ourselves!

02/08/2026: A curious little bar, filled with black and white photos of actors and actresses, old bottles of liquor, and the man who serves you... quite a character, initially reserved but very attentive and friendly in his own way, with a French touch that doesn't mean he's unpleasant, quite the opposite. The food is spectacular, and accompanied by the bar's 80s music, it's wonderful. 100% recommended. The menu is short but perfectly adequate; this place doesn't need anything more because it has everything without any grand decorative pretensions.

10/08/2026: My first dining spot in Metz! I went there based on an AI recommendation, and it was a place that served authentic French course meals. Except for me, everyone else was a local. Just as I had heard about French people, they lingered at their tables for a very long time, chatting, eating, and enjoying dessert and coffee. It looked so cool that I tried to imitate them. The server was incredibly kind, and perhaps because the other guests were curious about an Asian woman dining alone, they looked at me with warmth, smiled, and took care of me, making for a very pleasant dining experience. Everyone working there smiled whenever we made eye contact and was so friendly. Needless to say, the food was excellent. Everything—from the dishes and desserts to the final espresso—was perfect! It is a bit pricey, but I thought it was reasonable for a restaurant of this caliber. It was a warm restaurant that created a wonderful time for me. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try authentic French cuisine.

09/08/2026: We had lunch here today as a couple for the first time, and it was fabulous in every way! We ordered the daily special (the trio of lobster, prawns, and scallops) with vegetables and roast potatoes, and it was delicious. For dessert, the gourmet coffee was excellent. We didn't order a starter, and we're glad we did because the portions were very generous! The menu is small, which is a sign of quality and expertise in the dishes. The staff is really friendly, and the restaurant is tastefully decorated. The proximity to the Coislin parking lot is a real plus! We will definitely be back.

10/07/2026: Cheap and tasty food. However, I noticed that the vegetarian sandwich (which costed 5 euro), lacked protein. It was supposed to include fried tofu, but when I opened it, all I found were pieces of the fried batter that was meant to coat the tofu. There was no actual tofu in the sandwich. Very disappointed!

07/08/2026: A small, fantastic restaurant with excellent quality food and incredibly welcoming staff! The mussels and fries were absolutely delicious, I'm still thinking about them 😫 It's very friendly and the desserts look simply exquisite (but I'd already eaten too many mussels to order dessert).

06/08/2026: The Moules Frites are phenomenal. Everything about this small place in St Malo is simple but perfect, including the menu.
