17/10/2025: A nice, rustic cabin in a beautiful location. The rooms are a bit dated. They could use some improvements here and there. The outdoor dining area, right by the street, is noisy. The food is good. The staff is friendly. Breakfast is adequate.

24/09/2025: For us it is always a pleasure to stop at the Napoleon refuge, I can no longer count the number of times we had a drink there while soaking up the scenery with the small lake and the Col de Vars.🏔️⛰️ In summer in 🏍️ or in winter snowshoeing at the Vars resort nearby.

07/04/2026: A bit disappointed with the experience because selling New Zealand lamb when there are farmers all around isn't cool! As a result, the lamb shank wasn't great, overcooked, and the mashed potatoes were more like purée… a bit mediocre. Otherwise, the welcome was very warm and friendly, but they should really focus more on homemade/local/short supply chain products. A shame…

04/04/2026: Excellent meal, very warm welcome. Tourtons, ravioli, and wine. Perfect. And the cherry on top: a freshly baked New York cookie—a real treat! Attentive and pleasant waitress.

17/04/2026: A wonderful discovery! I'm from the area, but closer to Le Bourget-du-Lac. The restaurant was full at lunchtime. The welcome was very pleasant. Thank you! The lunch menu was very reasonably priced: starter, main course, and dessert for €22. The terrace was lovely. No noise even though all the tables were occupied. Well done! The path around the lake, much improved compared to previous years (lol), is a great success. A really lovely time spent together. 👏👍

06/04/2026: Another delightful culinary experience yesterday on Easter Sunday! Homemade dishes with delicious flavors, beautifully presented, a very pleasant setting, and very welcoming staff! We will definitely be back!

26/03/2026: The lunch menu was very, very mediocre, even bad. Perhaps I just had bad luck that day. But €38 for that? I understand better why the French no longer eat in restaurants and prefer sandwiches or salads.

You'll discover Corsican specialties, prepared with authenticity. Excellent atmosphere. The welcome is wonderful and warm. The value for money is simply unbeatable in Ajaccio. I've never been disappointed; it's always a delight and a truly enjoyable experience. The team is fantastic. There's only one restaurant I return to regularly: this one, because I know I'll have a wonderful time every time. A sure thing.
