07/09/2026: We celebrated our wedding on September 5, 2026. We wanted to extend a huge thank you to Jean and his entire team for their service and the delicious meal. Jean was perfect from beginning to end. He is a very professional person who provides excellent support to the bride and groom throughout the preparations. We also thank Lola, who was much appreciated during the evening for her enthusiasm and joie de vivre.

23/08/2026: The restaurant itself is pleasant, the decor is well done. But the service is another story. The aperitif arrived accompanied by... a few peanuts. Basic, to put it politely. The dishes, however, were uninteresting—ordinary, with no apparent effort. We should have been suspicious seeing the empty dining room on a weekend evening: it wasn't a good sign. The service was adequate, without any particular warmth. But the worst part was the speed at which the dishes were served, as if the staff were only in a hurry to close up shop. We felt more rushed than welcomed. In short: decor that isn't enough to save a botched experience. We won't be going back.

24/08/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The setting, between the old church steeple and the surrounding countryside, is magnificent. The food is excellent. The service is friendly and helpful.

28/07/2026: We arrived on a Saturday at lunchtime, just as service was ending. The team quickly prepared a table for us, and we enjoyed an excellent meal. Great service, great food. Special mention for the Basque burger.

30/07/2026: We came to El Cafecito yesterday afternoon to try the coffee on the recommendation of friends, and we were very disappointed… The coffee was very strong, with a burnt taste… The pastries, however, were delicious! Another downside: the person behind the counter was very unpleasant, barely a hello, no smile, and swearing… It's a shame, we'd heard it was a Tours coffee institution. We'll see about coming back…

26/07/2026: It's a shame the service doesn't live up to the quality of the products. The coffee was very good, but the waitress was unfriendly and rarely smiled. Admittedly, the job is difficult, especially on busy days, but these qualities are essential for building customer loyalty.

23/07/2026: Excellent experience at Courtepaille Pacé. Bright dining room. Simple and relaxing decor in a wood theme. Quick, friendly, and very welcoming service. Varied menu featuring wood-fired dishes. You know why you come here, and you also know why you'll come back. The value for money is very good, and the quality is consistently high. I'm a regular! 😉

20/07/2026: The management really needs to hire more staff; this is the second place we've spent 1 hour and 45 minutes on a measly summer salad 🙄 The waiter who took our order had to go to the kitchen, leaving only two servers for the dining room and terrace. We left before dessert, and there was no compensation offered for the bill 😴🤔

01/09/2026: I was blown away. Used to lengthy descriptions for a simple beef dish or fish preparation, I chose an ultra-simple dish, thinking it would be a good challenge in the kitchen. I was stunned by my dish: impeccable presentation, a generous portion, but above all, subtle nuances, simple yet sophisticated flavors, a surprise from the very first bite, and a second bite to confirm that incredible surprise. Thank you to the chef and his team, thank you to the service. I can't wait to come back.

As soon as you enter the shop, the aroma of all the pastries tantalizes your taste buds, and the saleswomen are very efficient and professional. A must-visit in Nice.

08/08/2026: I discovered this restaurant at lunchtime for a family meal. It was a wonderful experience. The menu is concise, with simplified lunch options (fish, poultry, or meat) made with fresh ingredients. The desserts were also very good. The terrace, covered by a pergola covered in greenery, is very pleasant in the summer. I will be back soon to try the evening menus or on a weekend. Highly recommended.
