However, this impression is somewhat marred by the restaurant's decor, which lacks character and feels cold. The waitress's casual denim outfit—despite being pleasant enough—also clashes with the restaurant's overall image. It's a shame. A customer experience is as much about visual appeal as it is about taste.

12/02/2026: Nice, welcoming place. We had lunch for work, and the place was crowded at that hour. Despite this, the dishes arrived in a reasonable time, and the prices are standard French fare, a bit high for Italians.

02/04/2026: Stunning area, amongst the vineyards. I have the set menu and my husband ordered from the carte. The food was just delicious! €28 for a 3 course menue, or steak and fries also €28. Service was prompt and owner friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back.

20/04/2026: I've been to this establishment several times, living in La Clusaz... But this will definitely be the last time...an older woman was standing behind the bar and was a little too attentive to our needs! She came to bother us every 10 minutes, no exaggeration, and with absolutely no courtesy...the way two people in our group were eating the raclette (€30/person) didn't please the lady... My son had the misfortune of letting me taste the cheese, and she pounced on us even though there were six of us and each of us had ordered a dish costing between €30 and €40! I had to put her in her place because the young people with me didn't dare say anything... It's very regrettable, because the waiter was very pleasant, and thankfully this person is surrounded by people who raise the bar... If it had been up to me, I would have put her in her place even more, but I remained polite, and yet there was still no apology... APPALLING... You need to do something else quickly, Madam. Virginie

16/03/2026: We had an absolutely perfect evening at Le Cheval Blanc in Changé. The menu was excellent, refined, and flawlessly executed. The service was perfectly timed, and the staff were exceptionally attentive and pleasant throughout the meal. Everything came together to make this a truly special occasion. I had planned a marriage proposal there during dessert, and everything unfolded smoothly and naturally thanks to the team. A huge thank you to the entire team for their professionalism and for helping to make this an unforgettable evening.

30/04/2026: I absolutely do not recommend this place. The food is very bad and the hygiene is appalling. Furthermore, the owner's behavior, staring at the female customers, is extremely disturbing. I will never go back.
