22/03/2026: Always a delight! The team and staff are top-notch and adapt to the number of guests. The menu is extensive and varied, changing with the seasons. Everything is delicious, from appetizers to desserts. Homemade cuisine, beautifully presented. You can go there with your eyes closed and your taste buds open!

12/05/2026: We had lunch there as a family. The restaurant made an excellent impression on us. The white tablecloths and interior decor were very pretty. We enjoyed admiring each plate and each bottle. The menu was varied and very tasty. Our family thoroughly enjoyed this outing to such a charming place where the food was so good.

10/05/2026: Delicious and refined cuisine, friendly and smiling staff. However, I found the service a little slow. It's true that this is a restaurant where you take your time to relax and appreciate the food, but we still stayed for almost two and a half hours. Perhaps there was a one-off problem that day. I'll have to confirm this by returning a second time. The food and the friendliness of the staff are well worth it!

30/03/2026: Excellent. Always a pleasure to have lunch at the Courtepaille in Saint Jean de Braye. Relaxed atmosphere and good food.

16/03/2026: We went for drinks to celebrate the reopening and ordered drinks from the menu, but they didn't have them (no signature cocktail, no Picon beer). Frankly, it was very mediocre for a reopening, very disappointing. Plus, it was noisy. So we didn't stay for dinner. It's all well and good to redo the decor, but shouldn't they also restock their supplies to be able to serve customers?

16/03/2026: The place was full, so we just had a coffee leaning against the counter. The waitress was friendly and smiling. The place is crowded, so it's best to make a reservation to eat there. The atmosphere is nice.

27/04/2026: A very good experience during the ham fair! We were welcomed in a friendly atmosphere and had a good laugh with the waitstaff. The food was perfect, the prices reasonable, and everything was high quality. Thank you! We will definitely be back soon! 😁

25/04/2026: Thankfully the bread and wine were good. €35 for the school cafeteria meal, we spent 3 hours waiting for our food, the waiter dumped the dessert on the table and let me eat what was left without replacing the main course.

19/04/2026: A rip-off. Very high prices for mediocre quality, and don't even think about asking for ketchup; they'll charge you €1.50. The restaurant is in a passageway and, to top it off, in the shade.

17/04/2026: I loved everything: the menu, the service, the quality of the meats and appetizers (the homemade foie gras is incredible, the pierrade is a must-try, the setting is peaceful (it was April, after all), and a big thank you to the lovely servers). It was our first time at Le Bœuf sur le Quais, and we can't wait to come back and try other dishes (we had a hard time choosing!). I almost wanted to keep the place a secret, but I have no choice but to recommend it and invite you to try this restaurant.

The welcome and service are always exceptional (quick and lovely), and what a place it is (the pink LEDs are gorgeous!). We were even lucky enough to be seated at the same table as on our first date. 19/02/2026: Originally from Guadeloupe and visiting the city, we came for lunch. We stopped at the Place Nationale, saw the restaurant, and noticed it was full, but we wanted to get some information (if they offered other services or if we could come another day) and ask questions. The waitress, barely arrived, offered a less than warm welcome, didn't take the time to listen to us, and promptly ushered us towards the exit, suggesting another restaurant. It's not my habit to criticize a restaurant, and one can understand certain situations, knowing that the restaurant business isn't easy. But there's an art to how you interact with customers; first impressions are crucial. This review isn't intended to criticize this establishment, but rather to encourage the staff to be more attentive to how they welcome potential customers. I am responding to your feedback: Sir, your sarcastic response only confirms the lack of professionalism we experienced. Before writing a review, we took the time to consult your positive feedback. Unfortunately, the reality was quite different. To claim that it is abnormal to enter a full restaurant to ask for information or make a future reservation is a rather peculiar view of hospitality. You praise the welcome "Madame" gives to your regular customers, but on that day, for us, as Black and Afro-descendant women, the welcome was icy and the expulsion swift. This stark contrast between the glowing reviews and our experience raises a legitimate question about the impartiality of your service. And yet, my colleague returned to calmly tell "Madame" that the way she spoke to me could have caused discomfort, and I was. She became defensive and even more dismissive. Finally, please be aware that your fellow restaurant owners in the city, where we were received with the respect due to any customer, were the first to be shocked by your attitude and do not share your vision of service at all. A true professional knows how to question themselves instead of hiding behind their "regulars" to justify discriminatory behavior.

18/02/2026: Excellent cuisine, beautifully presented dishes, and impeccable service. Smiles and friendliness are always present. All this at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this restaurant located under the arcades of the lovely Place Nationale in Montauban.

17/04/2026: The pizza was fresh and delicious for price of 9 euro. I went there at 00:20 he saved me to survive 😀, because it is no other placed to eat at that time. The pizza is made at the moment which is nice. Had a great time and a lot of laugh while waiting. Very nice person.

15/03/2026: Denis has had a symbolic impact on our lives without even realizing it. Beyond his sumptuous homemade pizzas (try the parsley and garlic one!!), he is unfailingly kind. Without judgment, just with his good humor and simplicity, he will ensure you have an unforgettable experience. Not to mention the incredibly affordable prices (he seems to have been immune to inflation!). Go for it... it's more than a pizzeria, it's an experience!

Thank you to the lady who greeted us; the timing of the courses was perfect despite the restaurant being quite busy, and she demonstrated true professionalism towards everyone. The meal was delicious, and we will gladly return.
