14/09/2024: Truly authentic hotel, well-kept rooms, apples and nuts on the bedside table, very warm welcome by Mr and Mrs, Mr is the cook and provides a wonderful dinner and breakfast with an abundance of homemade jams and charcuterie available.
Recommended!
07/09/2024: The weather was cool and wet for early September when we called in Le Dauphin without booking hoping for a late lunch at 13.30.
Given a warm welcome and joined the one other table of three diners.
As we were enroute to staying further south a quick, light lunch appealed. We went for the fixed three course menu and a glass of wine.
Served very promptly and very hot dishes. Starter of aubergine and tomato was good. I had the hake and my partner the duck main dishes! Cafe gourmande included strawberry and raspberry dishes.
All good and a pleasant glass of Bordeaux to accompany it.
A very traditional feel to the dining room and met our needs very well.

07/10/2024: We had dinner on a Friday evening.
First difficulty, no reservation. We come, we eat. I'm not a fan of this kind of concept. I prefer to have the guarantee of finding my table when I arrive at the restaurant.
Second difficulty, we order a Roquefort Burger. It was very good but I'm still looking for the taste, the pieces of Roquefort. It was so subtle that I still feel like I ate a classic butter. We are in France, we love cheese so when we put Roquefort butter on the menu, we have to go for it…. Otherwise it’s of no interest!
Other than that, very friendly and helpful staff.
The plates are beautifully presented.
Great experience nonetheless.

01/09/2024: A beautiful address in a small Catalan village.
Eating in the shade of the plane tree with Latin music playing in the evening is very pleasant in the summer. Smiling, attentive and efficient staff.
Generous plates. Calamari cooked perfectly à la planxa 🥰 with homemade fries.
Small parking spaces around or in the courtyard behind.
We will come back.

The room was really small and noisy. The decor is minimalist, no frills but welcoming.
My opinion is mixed on the dishes. They are good but my friend found two hairs in his dish. What can happen I admit.
The waiter's reaction was impeccable and immediately apologetic. Very nice reaction and we felt embarrassed by the situation.
Back to the dishes, I had never eaten Afghan.
This restaurant remains to be discovered 😉
Too bad for this little problem which took away our appetite.

I agree with the previous opinions concerning the manager of this creperie Ty Bilig in Rambouillet: he is very aggressive and unpleasant.
He did not understand that in restaurants, the welcome was as important as the dishes.
He also did not understand the importance of hygiene: during the last health inspection on 07/05/2023, “establishment presenting non-compliances to which the administrative authority sends a letter reminding the regulations with a view to of an improvement in practices”.
30/11/2024: Very pleasant and warm staff. The pancakes and crepes are of very good quality, as are the toppings. It feels like Saint Malo. It is a pleasure to frequent this restaurant.

The place is truly magnificent, both inside the restaurant and also the small outside square.

04/06/2024: An incredible experience. Lost in the countryside, a chef and his team perform an extraordinary magic trick for an hour. Fresh products, daring recipes, and sophisticated trompe-l'oeil. Everything is excellent. Two appetizers, starter, main course, dessert, an extraordinary cannelé with coffee, and a small chocolate cake as a gift for the road. We didn't touch the alcohol, due to the road, but the cart invites you to taste it. Thank you for this moment of pure pleasure.
