18/09/2026: Excellent pizza!! Would’ve ordered a third if I had the room for it! Staff is very friendly and spoke English very well which was appreciated as a tourist. The ingredients taste so so fresh and it’s exactly why i love traveling to europe for pizza places like this one. Excellent all around! We even had a stroller and the staff was accommodating for baby :) thank you

28/08/2026: A mixed bag after a year of new ownership. The food is excellent: the dishes are good, fresh, and beautifully presented, and the waitress's service is impeccable. Unfortunately, the owner's attitude spoils the experience: a very long wait to order, a nonchalant demeanor, and inappropriate attire (leggings and sneakers) for a Saturday night in this setting. The overall quality of service suffers as a result.

14/08/2026: We had a lovely time enjoying a delicious dinner. The setting is beautiful, with a lovely dining room and another charming little room at the entrance. The meal was excellent. This restaurant is well worth a visit.

06/09/2026: For my part, I found the restaurant quite interesting, well-located, well-organized, well-suited, and rather friendly, welcoming, and kind. The service was very high-quality, and this is evident in its organization. The team was very kind, attentive, respectful, and responsive. The overall experience was great, and the prices were quite high in my opinion; they should be lowered to be a bit more accessible. But that's a minor point, and I appreciate the approach and the quality of service. It was a great experience, and a special mention goes to the waiter and the manager. Thank you for everything else. It was a very pleasant and enjoyable discovery. The setting, the simplicity, and the friendliness of the rest of the establishment were wonderful. The brasserie is very chic, warm, and good, and we understand why. The waitress was a bit haughty at first, but the staff and her colleagues made up for it, and that's what matters most. Thank you especially for your support, kindness, hospitality, professionalism, availability, responsiveness, humanity, and humility. I hope to see you again very soon.

09/08/2026: Generous and delicious portions! Friendly atmosphere, indoor or outdoor dining (the terrace overlooking the greenery is lovely!). The servers are very professional and welcoming. Highly recommended!

13/09/2026: Disappointing after Mademoiselle Grey! No amuse-bouche with the cocktails, No bread! Nothing! Nada! The wine list doesn't indicate which wines are organic, and the waiter doesn't know anything about them… he's helpful, though, and runs to the kitchen to find out, take a picture of the bottle and the organic logo, and bring back a glass! Hats off to him! Because it seems the waiters are constantly on the go and doing everything they can to do well, but the management isn't up to the task for such a place: their equipment doesn't seem suitable for the services offered (fish filleting, lobster preparation, flambéing, etc.), they never know where to bring their wine or their food: we see dedicated and willing waiters around us with wobbly service tables, not big enough to hold the plates, etc. In short: quite a spectacle, but a sad one for the employees… As for the food? My rack of lamb was inedible, very fatty, and completely undercooked. And the fries? Barely cooked, a disaster… and any side dish is extra! Avoid the desserts! Mine was so disappointing! From Thiriet? A scoop of iced chocolate with praline mousse… and two small ones on the side! And so sweet! … Ugh, no pastry flavor whatsoever, no dessert worthy of this establishment. I shared some feedback with the cashier, asking about our satisfaction… all to encourage you to improve! I hope you'll make progress to raise the bar: your establishment should be a shining example of French excellence! I'm counting on you! Best of luck!

15/06/2026: I am not sure how this is rated a 4-star hotel. The property feels old and run-down, and the rooms feel like a cheap roadside motel. The staff is incredibly rude, and the level of customer service is unlike anything I have experienced in the South of France. Dinner at L'Ensemble was a disaster— 15 min sitting down before someone offered us water and took drink orders. Over two hours to receive our food, my husband's swordfish was raw, my steak was like rubber, and the staff is just entirely indifferent. To make matters worse, there is nowhere else to eat besides the one restaurant. The pool bar/restaurant is only open June 27 till end of August, so there is no poolside service. I came here to spend five days while my daughter attends tennis camp for 2 weeks, and the pool is closed for private events three of those five days, so I can't even hang out by the pool while shes training. Nothing short of disappointing. This will be my first and last stay here. The only redeeming quality is the beautiful tennis facility. Take your money elsewhere and stay somewhere that actually cares about the guests and delivers a true 4-star resort experience.

18/07/2026: I can recommend this leaf-wrapped döner kebab to everyone; it's the most delicious you can eat in and around the Strasbourg area (note: leaf-wrapped döner kebab is special on Saturdays).

13/07/2026: I've tried quite a few pizzerias and this one has the best value for money in Mérignac, the team is top-notch and the pizzas are excellent.
