20/07/2026: A delightful discovery: refined and beautifully presented cuisine. We ate on the shaded terrace, but their dining room is air-conditioned. The service was quick, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Just one minor complaint: the seafood skewers were overcooked.

However, setting aside the interior style, the experience quickly won us over. The service was excellent! Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Each dish was beautifully executed, showcasing both skill and care in the kitchen. When comparing the overall experience to other local restaurants in Beaujolais, it became clear why this place has earned a Michelin recommendation. The wine list is also impressive and affordable, offering great inspiration for exploring local wineries.

Had both the minced pork over rice a.k.a ru lou fan (excellent) and roast duck (excellent and meaty) and BBQ pork slices (good but a bit fatty for me) over rice with beautiful veggies and sauce to make it easy to eat the whole bowl.

10/07/2026: A wonderful discovery! Everything was excellent, the foie gras was to die for 😋😋😋, plus a warm welcome, a very pleasant waitress, and very friendly and attentive owners. We returned for a family lunch (16 people) to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The very next day, we had a really great menu proposal with a good selection of starters and main courses, and the entire dessert menu.

27/06/2026: We came for lunch this Saturday. A truly wonderful discovery. The restaurant's setting is superb, the food superb, and the staff and owners are all fantastic. Nothing but positives. I highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back.

09/05/2026: Absolutely excellent. The food: of very high quality. And sometimes, the chef manages to surprise us, taking us down unexpected paths. Add to that the fact that you'll always be guided through your choices, as the team takes pleasure in advising you. The setting: it's simple. Whether you walk there from the city center (10 minutes...) along the quays for a bucolic, almost pastoral stroll, or drive there (5 minutes...) to be practically immersed in the countryside, the change of scenery is complete. A moment outside of time. A Sunday in the country. Almost like a picnic by the water. All in a magnificent setting that immediately puts you in a state of total relaxation. The city, so close, is completely absent. In 10 minutes, you're somewhere else entirely. All that remains is the water, the birds, the trees, the sun, sometimes the wind, often the ducks. You are warmly welcomed. You are comfortably seated (it's a small thing, a silly detail, but so important...). You are well seated. You are well served. And it must be emphasized that, wherever you are seated—on the terrace by the lock, the canal, and the mill, in the veranda, or inside—you always enjoy a rare privilege these days: the space is not noisy. You can hear each other speak at your table, and at the same time, each table remains private, meaning that the neighboring table cannot hear what is being said at yours. It is very relaxing. You don't just come here to eat; you come here to experience and share a moment. With great simplicity. I don't know of any other place in Narbonne so carefully preserved, so attentive to your palate and your shared experience of the pleasure of dining.

For the past few months, I've been coming once or twice a week, and the quality is consistently excellent. The welcome is impeccable, the staff is attentive and responsive, and the service is quick without ever being rushed. The dishes are superb, perfectly executed, and the atmosphere makes every visit enjoyable. Another real plus is the easy parking nearby. A well-deserved 5/5.

29/03/2026: Perfection is the best way to describe this tea room. Returning from a busy week in Spain, we stopped by this establishment with friends. The welcome was immediately warm from all the members of the team. The drinks and treats arrived very quickly and, above all, were excellent—a special mention for the hot dark chocolate, which was perfectly melted. All these thoughtful touches are enhanced by staff who genuinely care about their customers and share their good cheer! It's a true haven of warmth in the heart of this mountain village. I highly recommend it!
