16/08/2026: While visiting Grenoble with my family, I had the pleasure of enjoying this excellent bistronomic restaurant, which is very affordable and incredibly creative. The cuisine is fresh and homemade, and the dishes are beautifully presented: the mimosa egg reimagined as French caviar, the beef tataki, the tomato tartare, and so on. The ceviche is generous, and everything else is equally delicious. The wines offered by the glass are excellent. While the food is fantastic, it's truly enhanced by the absolutely perfect service: professional, attentive, welcoming, friendly, and even a little funny. That evening, August 15th, the waiter single-handedly handled the entire service with good humor and care for his customers. What a pleasure to be served like that! A huge thank you to him in the dining room and to the chef in the kitchen for their generosity and high quality. It was a truly wonderful experience! A must-try in Grenoble on the charming Place de Gordes.

14/07/2026: A disappointing experience, especially on the evening of a semi-final match. The servers were nonchalant, practically on the verge of being turned away. We arrived at 8:45 pm and ordered immediately, right in the middle of happy hour, only to be told at the checkout that it wasn't happy hour at all? A watered-down mojito full of ice and water for 10 bucks is only acceptable for so long. Avoid this place.

27/08/2026: Sorry, but the sushi is skimpy; there's hardly any salmon inside, everything is super thin. I don't recommend it; it's really poor quality.

25/08/2026: After a steep climb of about 100 meters to reach the heart of Montmorency from Soisy/Enghien, my favorite thing to do is settle down on the terrace of the "Cheval Blanc" for a well-deserved refreshment, just enough time to soak up the atmosphere before strolling around. From the terrace, there's a full view of the Place Roger Levanneur and its lively atmosphere, whether it's market day (Wednesday/Sunday) or not. And what has always surprised me is learning that the establishment used to settle the bills of impoverished intellectuals and artists in the 19th century by using one of their works.

02/09/2026: I could give zero stars. This restaurant refused me entry to the restroom even though I begged. I wanted to warn you because I believe it's important to support businesses that deserve it and have a heart of gold. I had just gotten off the train right next door, so I wasn't dressed up (I was wearing sweatpants and flip-flops). The waitress looked me up and down with utter arrogance and refused me entry to the restroom. Then I asked for a glass of water, which was also refused without even looking me in the eye. I remained polite and said goodbye: nothing. It seems that appearances and judgment have taken precedence over people's basic humanity. Asking for water should be normal, and this is the first time in my life I've ever witnessed anything like this. Avoid this place if you don't think your money deserves to fall into the hands of people like this.

09/09/2026: A very charming restaurant/bistro located one street off the main road. Fantastic service – very friendly, courteous, and attentive. The set lunch menu with dessert, as well as an à la carte dish, were delicious and very reasonably priced.

27/07/2026: Le Trumilou was a great vibe all around. Our server was very chill, friendly and fast. The food was amazing, although not the best we had in Paris (still great for a touristy area). We sat outside and were looking at the Seine while eating - so that left nothing to complain about. Their white wine list was quite limited however. Moreover, their daily special was a "linguine" but we got served spaghetti, however I do not expect excellent Italian food in a French restaurant, so this was fine. Their wild poultry chicken was chicken breast - so it was quite filling and a bit hard to eat by the end which we were not aware of before. Their entrées were the best part of the meal. Overall, it was a good experience and their food was good but not the best we've had in Paris.
