09/12/2024: Six of us went to eat and they treated us wonderfully. It seemed like it was closed since there were no other diners but to our surprise it worked perfectly, they had all the products. Some of us had the menu of the day, a very good option that included a starter to choose from, a main course, dessert and a drink for €16 and others took a dish from the menu. Highlight the kindness of the couple who attended us. If we return to the area we will repeat for sure

06/07/2025: I knew the establishment thanks to a friend and I had already eaten well there. Yesterday, I wanted to show the place to my partner who was more than pleasantly surprised. Generous, creative cuisine. I, who was not a fan of mechoui, knew that I would be reconciled and I am not disappointed!! We left with our dog bag. It would be a matter of not wasting such a dish!

09/07/2025: Poor service, not all ordered dishes were delivered, kitchen closed, we had staggered dinners. Long waits. Contemptuous and pathetic "boss." Frustrating evening. No solution provided. Comment to help users choose another restaurant; under no circumstances should you read any response from the establishment.

25/06/2025: L'Ecluse, or how to lower the bar, close to L'Echouage. A welcome with a bar overflowing with dead bottles gives us the opportunity to discover that the young manager seems closer to a therapy session than to opening Chardonnay. He even tells us not to come. The show begins with an adorable waiter, helpless in the face of the misery of the customers' experience. Hours of waiting, clumsy €24 platters pass in front of us; the customers prefer to laugh it off. The principle of the starter consists of putting a sort of egg in cold whipping cream with undercooked asparagus. Let's move on. It's simply disgusting. The tartare will resemble more the idea I have of the chef's brain once under my boot than anything else. In short, a pasty baby food. We capitulate, like our table neighbors, avoiding setting the establishment on fire to complete the show. Kudos to the employees of this venue, which is clearly more of a comedy show than a catering service. In short, €120 or more for lousy food, but what a dinner show!

18/09/2024: Très bel endroit en bord de vienne. Calme et tranquille. Très belle décoration. Belles propositions de plats. Belles assiettes.

08/09/2024: Newly open in a prime position near the ancient bridge. A warm friendly well with very obliging owner. Recommended.

30/08/2024: Entrée correcte, pour le plat principal: portion plus que réduite concernant la viande et posée sur du pain pour cacher la petitesse; Les prétentions de la présentation ne gomme pas la médiocrité ;

24/08/2024: the terrace is nice, the service pleasant. On the other hand, price level, a little excessive in view of the dishes, we took starter main course dessert: starter very minimalist in quantity, for the main course: the lamb burger, not too much meat, the duck breast well cooked, but the carrots for the price, the chocolate and blueberry dessert is not great in terms of flavor.

16/09/2024: On ne s’en lasse pas ! C’est un lieu convivial, familial et très agréable. Les pizzas sont les meilleures de Nice et alentours et toute la carte est excellente !

24/12/2023: Five of us arrived one hour before closing time without reservation. We were welcomed and after a few moments we were take to a table in a gorgeous rock cavelike dining room. Only one of our party spoke some French but our hostess was very gracious and patiently gave us all the assistance we needed. The service was impeccable, the food was amazing in appearance and delicious to the palate. Thank you L’Oxalis for a perfectly wonderful evening.
